During a difficult time when I couldn’t secure confirmed tickets to Mumbai, the temple became much more than a place to rest—it was a true home. Over a seven-day stay marked by a chilly winter morning at 5:30 am, the temple offered affordable accommodation and a compassionate haven, especially cherished by many Gujarati traders and small business owners who often find refuge here.

I later learned from an astrologer that my planetary alignment was challenging, and in all honesty, I felt vulnerable facing major setbacks. Yet under the watchful guidance of Swami Narayan, I experienced a profound sense of protection and renewal that helped me navigate those testing moments.

Outside the temple, the presence of a lively and powerful Hanuman idol deepened my spiritual connection. Every aspect, from the heartfelt care provided by the temple management in Delhi to the nourishing pure vegetarian food served in the small canteen, added warmth and comfort to my journey. Had the best experience for dinner at just ₹110. The best quality Thali i had in Delhi at this price. I would recommend this place to everyone who is visiting the civil lines Swaminarayan temple. There are accommodation facilities at very affordable rates but you'll only get it if it's available. Mostly it remains full. Nice place for stay. They have 3 dormitories. Few AC rooms available for 1300/- Rs. Per day. Dining facilities is also available 110/- for simple lunch, pay extra for buttermilk and sweet.
