Our school Oriental Institute Senior Secondary School, Deoria is a partner school with Korean Cultural Centre India for long. Our students participated in some selected events organized by KCCI in the yore and recently as well via virtual mode. KCCI officials invited us to be a part of One-day Seminar at the Centre for the Principals to familiarize them with the Korean Culture. Also, they did send a healthful gift to exhibit solidarity on the occasion of Festival of Lights, Deepawali.

The situation of pandemic brought the life to a standstill, but as establishments started reopening, I decided to meet the officials at KCCI in person to discover various possibilities to get actively involved for the benefit of our students. I met Ms. Shiny Simon who was earlier working as PR and Communication Senior Assistant and has now moved to the Education Department.

Such a wonderful professional she was. Her demeanour had warmth, great level of hospitality and complete focus towards how to strengthen the ties further and stronger. KCCI which is a part of the Korean Embassy to India is working tirelessly and sincerely to make Indians of various age groups to get familiarized with Korean language and Culture.

The Centre is beautifully designed, flawlessly clean and carry a tinge of grandeur. The Centre organizes art exhibitions and a host of colourful events with the sole objective to provide cross-cultural exposure, have a nice library housing collection of a range of books in Korean language, spacious well-equipped classrooms for Korean language aspirants, Secret Garden and Taekwondo Academy.

For now, their highly experienced and energetic language trainers are delivering sessions via online mode, but they have plans to start regular sessions at the Centre once the normalcy sets in completely. The curriculum is well-designed and the whole purpose is to enable Indian students embrace Korean language beautifully and confidently.

There is a cafe as well, Dalgrak, that serves authentic Korean food and rightfully boasts of great ambience.

We feel truly honoured to be a part of...

I have been to KCCI's cafeteria (Dalgrak) many times earlier. I have always enjoyed their ambience and food but today I didn't find the food upto the mark.

I order tteok-kochi which was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend it! (This dish never loses it tastes.)

But the Cheese Ramyeon didn't taste fine. Also, the Vanilla Cafe Latte was so-so. The latte tasted more like a simple cold coffee that too not sweet. There was no such flavour of vanilla and the ice cubes didn't go well in it as they ruined the taste more later.

I really like their side dishes (Kimchi, caramelized peanuts, pickled radish) but today, even their side dishes didn't taste fine as well to me. I trust this cafe and the food they provide so I hope to have a good experience next time :)

Apart from the cafe, this cultural centre provides Korean language classes, taekwondo classes and other related facilities. The centre has a separate exhibition area which they keep updating with thoughtful and new themes. In the basement, they have a dance practice area which the members can access for a long time. Along with it, the basement has an auditorium where most of the cultural events take place like fan meets, birthday celebrations etc. Must...

Today I visited New Delhi the Korean Cultural Center to have coffee, which is a small, quiet and wonderful cafe hidden in beautiful greenery. You can see the natural scenery around the window of the restaurant and I ordered vegetarian food for two people, Tabbu Ki & Ramen Noodles & take away because we want to taste authentic Korean food, The food is the best but a little pricey but it's okay & here also small Art centre & library also you can visit there.Generally the service is excellent and the atmosphere is awesome. You can pay her UPI App & e- payment by credit & debit Card 💳 . Overall Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐ Entrance is accessible. Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Parking ⭐⭐⭐ 🅿️ There is open parking in front of the restaurant. 🚮✅ 🚻✅ ♿❎ 🍱✅ 🛗✅

Korean Culture centre India(KCCI) is located in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. It's on walking distance from Moolchand metro station(Violet line). Its for those people who are attracted towards Korean Culture whether it be because of Kpop/Kdramas/Kbeauty. You can learn Korean from Kim Sejong korean learning institute in KCCI. There is a Kpop dance academy as well. You can learn taekwando as well. There is an art gallery and exhibition. Various Kpop related events are also conducted here. There is a korean cafe named Dalgrak, which is open for all. The cafe is good. I loved the food over there. I tried Ramyun and a chicken dish over there. Service is also good. But its a bit expensive. Its a must visit place for Kpop/Kdrama fans.
