Is it Bercos? Is it Mamagoto? Is it Yo China? No! It’s Suzie Wong! Zipping into my reviews with its star spangled cape comes this restaurant which crushes the pangs for Chinese food with aplomb. From the soup to the main course, all the dishes we ordered were impeccable. The Manchow Soup and the Lung Fung Soup hit just the perfect notes to beat the wintery blues, with their own distinct flavour and a bowl full of freshly fried manchow while the Pan Fried Noodles coupled with its gravy were a class apart. The noodles were perfectly balanced between crunchy and chewy whereas the gravy was bursting with flavours with a thick consistency, coating the noodles like a match made in heaven. The noodles and the gravy were served separately to ensure that they did not go soggy over time, which I found very thoughtful. For the non vegetarian dish, we had Phat Ki Mad noodles, which to be modest was a culinary epiphany. Flat noodles with exotic vegetables like shiitake mushrooms and chunks of chicken and a gracious serving of fried eggs and spices, could one ask for more? The food was plenteous, the service was excellent and the ambience was soothing. The owner served us himself and turned up the volume to some golden era songs for us and the chef personally came to ask if we wanted any customisations. If you are thinking of Chinese, just give this economical restaurant a try. The entrance may look a little bleak but rest assured, Suzie Wong will take you up,...
Read moreI have been to this place today itself with one of my colleague & I really loved the vibe of this place. The outlet is located near rajendra place metro station. The staff is very polite & courteous.
First of all we ordered sweet corn & chicken munchow soup & both tasted good. After that we had Chicken mangoliyan, Chicken dumplings & veg manchurian in starters. Every dish was very tasty but I must say the star dish was chicken dumplings which is highly recommended from my side. The chicken used was fresh & tasty as well. Atlast in main course we had chilly chiken greavy with veg fried rice. I must say that I have enjoyed each & every meal out here & overall service was also...
Read moreA must visit place if you’re looking for some good pan asian cuisine. This restaurant has come up as a replacement for the restaurant tsui wong. You won’t get a typical tsui wong taste if that’s what you are expecting but theirs is really good aswell. There’s no comparison. What they have to offer is good. I really enjoyed the food. I first ordered it at home, was very happy and then i went to their restaurant. i liked it, it was simple and cozy. I must say they undoubtedly offer a good quantity and quality of food.
