Like any other parent, I had my apprehensions before bringing my 1.5 yr old son here. The family was skeptical too. To add to my anxieties was the fact that we were doting parents to him and he was the pampered one. But then since both of are working parents we had to put him in a daycare.
When I spoke to the center director, I was mesmerised by the way she explained me about their curriculum and about how they nuture these toddlers. Upon taking a walk around the centre, I started to have a feeling that they mean what they say/ publish on their website.
True, that initial settling days were tough for the kiddo and for us too but then with the support of teachers and didis and with the cooperation of family ( nani and dadi accompanying him to the centre in the settlement phase) my son gradually settled in the Klay ecosystem. Yes, he gets cranky at times but then all of us have some bad days. I want to give a shout out to the teachers and support staff of the centre who are always on their toes running behind these little monsters and trying to inculcate all the right things - habits, skills, attitude. They are all so caring and have that personal touch with the kids. Trust me when I say that the centre director is no less than a mother to kids at centre. My son has been learning a lot of things lately. One thing which stands out is that before coming here, he never had food without a TV or mobile but now he has a non-digital / non-qwerty food. A BIG thank you Klay for helping us come out of this habit.
Just a word of caution to new parents wanting to bring their kids here: Give your child some time to settle down. Trust the centre and the staff.
Help your child cope up with the change, mentally. Donāt expect the centre to create a home like atmosphere (though they already are) rather, create a centre like atmosphere at home. I have gotten similar toys, similar mats etc .. have decorated his room at home in an almost similar manner.
Watch your child on cctv and talk to him about the activities he was doing / was engaged in the centre. Try to do those at home too.
We are almost 4 month old into the daycare and have been having a great experience so far. Thank you Klay for helping me come out of the guilt of compromising on the upbringing of my child just coz...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMid 2019 we were in a phase of taking important decision when my wife was done with her maternity leaves and our grand parents had to leave with some exigencies. After much of research we realized Klay was better than all other options. 6 months down the line, now our son is turning 2 and I say with a fully content heart; Klay not only is better in all our options; but proved to be the BEST ! We are 200% satisfied. In our anxious days, Klay had a remarkable ways of settling our child into a new environment. We see a sense a commitment, professionalism in staffs and they take care of children as their own with great love and affection. They engage the children with various activities and celebrate occasions. His teacher understands his strengths/weakness/ likes/ dislikes and works around it. They provide a TRANSPARENT report end of day. We are able to see impact of klay at home too; some good habits inculcated, discipline and ways of communication. Coming to important aspect of food, they take all efforts in feeding our son and he is a lot comfortable. And if in a day, he does not eat; they call and let us know. As the year comes to an end, our biggest joy is seeing our son soo happy at Klay. Initial days, we used to be fully glued to the CCTV live streaming watching him; but these days we seldom go online to see him; as klay has given us confidence that our son is happy, engaged, active, having proper food and sleep. The big smile he gives when we pick him up at evening says it all !!!
Thanks Klay, DLF building 14. We look forward for years to come. Special mention to Shifali mam, Laxmi mam and his favourite Pushpa didi.
I'm sure my honest feedback, will help some anxious working parents find this rite...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe got to know about KLAY preschool plus daycare from my husband who works in Cybercity, DLF , Gurugram. So far, I've been a full time mother at home. My baby is just two years, and it takes a brave heart to leave your child all alone who's been under intense care at home. However, in order to get back to career it's crucial that there's someone to take care of your child. My husband got this opportunity right close to his office, at Cyber City , Building 5C. Honestly, I had a lot of fears and doubts while having discussions with my husband at home about sending him to this day care for 9 long hours. Fortunately, after having a conversation with the Ms. Deepthi , the director of this school , and seeing around the child safe premises and affectionate staff, my all doubts just vanished and i really didn't have much to question or ask. Moreover, they have very flexible hours to leave your child here. I am sure my child is in the safe hands. Now, I've time for myself and more quality time for my husband and my child too. And, now i can finally concentrate on my career too. Glad to have such a place for my baby, which is working better than home. My child has a better schedule, and eats better with other kids now. Food safety and nutrition is taken care off well here. Ms. Deepthi first tastes the food herself before offering it to the kids. She gives attention to each child despite having teachers and nannies around. The staff number is a plus here. I would recommend this school, Klay, Building 5C, Cybercity, to all working parents, and mothers who aspire to make a career before it's too late to join back...
