Daulat Singh :

Daulat Singh (12 May 1875–14 April 1931) was the Maharaja of Idar, India, from 1911 to 1931.

He served as a squadron commander with the Jodhpur Risala in the Tirah Campaign 1897-1898, and Boxer Rebellion in China 1900. Later, he served also in First World War as a Major in British Army from 1914 in the Great War in Egypt and the Middle East 1914-1918 and was promoted to Hon. Lieut-Col in 1918.

Daulat Singh was the son of Maharaj Bhupal Singh of Jodhpur and was adopted by his uncle, Maharaja Pratap Singh of Idar, who abdicated in his favour in 1911. He was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of India (KCSI) in the 1920 New Year Honours.

Daulat Singh was succeeded by his eldest son, Himmat Singh.

The Daulat Singh Park is located at the Ridge near the once popular Park Cafe. It is a small stretch of green lawn, maintained and administered by the Municipal Corporation. Open to all, the well-manicured lawns are a good place to just sit and relax. Beautiful and colorful flowers have been planted in circular patterns, around the fence of the park to further elevate the freshness quotient. A marble statue of the founder of the state of Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Y. S. Parmar stands tall at the center...

Daulat singh park is really a very beautiful park....There so space available..and there in ishu about parking..the statue of mahatma Gandhi ji..and indra Gandhi ji and the statue of dr y p Singh is point of attraction ... there is Indian flag is here...and the view of the tricolour flag is very heart touching...and last but least..there is christ church is also point of attraction.....many people come here to...
