45 The Central — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

I was extremely disappointed during my recent visit to the place, which was once great when it first opened. The overall ambience was disappointing, with dirty tables and noticeable spider webs near the windows, indicating poor regular cleaning.

Regarding the food, we ordered Vegetable Noodles, Chilly Chicken, Kadhai Paneer, and Garlic Naan. We were served Indian food first, which was satisfactory but not as good as previous experiences at their restaurant. The Chilly chicken turned out to be stale, evident from the first bite. Although the waiter was willing to replace the dish, we didn't want to take another chance.

The noodles were okay, but not up to the standard they used to be. It seems that the place has lost its charm, possibly due to changes in the cooking staff. This disappointing experience occurred during a busy tourist season, leaving me unsure of what else to expect.

To their credit, they didn't charge us for the chilly chicken. Nevertheless, I am saddened to lose another good place to...

Rude and unprofessional staff.. we waited for 1 hour for our order and they did not even bother to serve... Not even a damn soup. The staff was rude and said " cancel kar do Inka order, ye bhag rahe hain" . We were about to leave the restaurant without having anything and they did not even care to apologise. When we told them that we are not tourists but locals and would rate them bad online, the manager then apologized and said they will serve us over other guest orders.. we left them and here is my review...

Also, two other tables left the restaurant as they also had been waiting for over an hour..

What a waste of time and location... I urge everyone not to go to this place.. There are much better cafes on the Mall road in...

45 The Central is a multicusine restaurant in Shimla, located in Mall Road. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes at an affordable rate. The dining experience here is further enhanced by the stunning ambience and the wonderful hospitality and service.

Winters in Shimla are pretty cold and anybody would prefer something hot and spicy. The Bon-fire wings proved to be the right choice. The chicken was soft and simply melted in my mouth. It was very well grilled and the flavour was truly amazing. I also loved the Sole Fish Sizzler which was cooked to perfection.
