When it comes to Indian food, Sandoz is one brand which always comes to your mind and after watching a movie at Inox Jangpura ext, we planned to visit their Lajpat Nagar outlet as it was quite near and our craving for some no fuss Indian food had reached its peak.

We started our meal with a nice “Palak Patta Chaat” which had crispy spinach leaves with all the chaat ingredients to mark a great beginning to your meal. We followed it up with their “Cheese Garlic Bread” which was a part of their continental menu which they have recently introduced and the garlic breads were very soft and fresh and were baked to perfection along with the cheese. We simply loved these garlic breads.

For the main course, we ordered a “Veg Signature Mezze Platter” which again was a part of their continental menu and had quite a few things to look forward to. The hummus which always is the life of such mezze platter, was very impressive and so were their pita breads. They along with the cheese triangles, falafels, tzatziki and tabboules made up a platter which is sure to take you on your long pending Lebanese trip. We also ordered a “Veg Deluxe Thali” which has again been newly added to their menu and is for sure a value for money proposition. It’s more than enough for two people with not so high appetite and consists of Dal Makhani, a Paneer dish and a mix veg along with a bread, raita, rice and salad. North Indian cuisine with Punjabi flavours is the forte of Sandoz and they once again impressed us with it. Especially the special paneer butter masala and the mix veg were simply amazing.

The drinks accompanying our meal were “Shikanji” & “Aam Panna”. Their drinks are very economically priced which makes it even easier to order them and enjoy them with the food you order. The drinks are very simple and no fuss stuff and goes well with the meal.

The service here was very impressive which was visible right from the time you enter. Their manager welcomed us very nicely and showed us to our table. The stewards too were very warm throughout and took our orders very patiently and the wait time wasn’t too high too.

Overall, Sandoz really hit the ball out of the park this time quite literally as we never expected to see a continental menu being offered there and that too an authentic one. Everything from their ambience to their food to their service made us go wow and would definitely recommend you to visit this place with your family for our nice family dinner....
