I recently visited Nagpal Chole Bhature and, honestly, came away feeling underwhelmed. I had heard quite a bit about the place and was looking forward to a satisfying, classic North Indian meal - but it didn’t quite live up to the expectations.
The chole bhature itself was just okay. The chole lacked depth in flavor and felt a bit bland, and while the bhature had decent size and fluffiness, they were extremely oily, which made them quite heavy and unenjoyable after the first few bites. The oiliness overpowered the dish and left that lingering greasy feeling, which really took away from the experience.
The lassi, however, was probably the better part of the meal. It did the job of filling me up and balanced the heaviness of the food somewhat. Still, it wasn’t remarkable - more functional than flavorful, if that makes sense.
What really added to the frustration was the service. The person at the billing counter seemed completely disinterested, casually scrolling through reels on his phone while I waited for a token. It took longer than it should have just to get my order in, and the lack of attentiveness left a bad first impression. On top of that, they only accept cash, which was both inconvenient and surprising in this day and age when digital payments are the norm.
Overall, the place didn’t offer the experience I was hoping for. Between the oily food, slow and inattentive service, and outdated payment policy, there wasn’t much to enjoy. It might work if you're just hungry and nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it - and I’m not sure I’d return...
Read moreI had the most disappointing experience at Baba Nagpal Corner, and I strongly advise against visiting this place. The food was utterly underwhelming—greasy, bland, tasteless and nowhere near the hype it gets. The chole was unflabbered, and the bhature were soggy, making the entire meal unenjoyable.
To make matters worse, their payment system is stuck in the Stone Age. They only accept cash, with no option for UPI or card payments. I specifically requested the counterpersonto accept UPI since I had travelled all the way from Gurugram just to try their famous chole bhature, but he rudely denied it to my face. I was left stranded without cash and had to beg 10 different people to exchange cash for my UPI payment. Thankfully, a kind person named Sumit helped me out, but this humiliating experience could have been avoided if the restaurant had modern payment options.
Overall, the food was terrible, the service was unhelpful, and the lack of UPI or card payment options made it even worse. Save your time and money—don’t bother visiting Baba Nagpal Corner. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Read moreIt is a very renowned place and known for tasty chole bhaturas. Over period of time they have made good name and become famous. Now with being famous comes the ego and attitude. The customer service is like angry young man. Irritated staff at counter very impolite and gives a heck for customer service. One customer bought chole bhaturas. In process of relaying the bhaturas to his friend in car misplaced the coupon in front of the staff at the counter. They were still rude and insisted on asking for coupon though they know customer just payed and said they give 2 hoots and dont care a heck what customer thinks and if you don't show coupon will not give dish. Very adamant and gross attitude and said they don't care who thinks what and they don't care if bad feedback is given for their service as they are not dependent on customer feedback and service. A big letdown on customer service. Folks going there please corroborate on this and add your experiences. It was a big letdown encountering rude staff at counter. Time for someone to pass feedback to owners to stop this...
