Ganapatipule, one of the āAshta-Vinayakā, located in district of Ratnagiri, has self incarnated Idol. Facing west. Some Say it protects Western Ghat. Sukha karta, Dukh harta Ganesh.
So usually people stay around Ratnagiri and early morning come to Ganapatipule temple to have all their problems vanish away.
Saying Ganapatipule I do always remember about movie in Marathi āNavra Maza Navsaachaā in which in funny way they showed a couples āNavasā getting completed and all problems getting vanished. So if you say Ganapatipule people in our family would always sing āChala Nagadeā song š«£
Okay so as we reached, around 10, Google Maps showed us entry from other side, but we got to know actual way as all police and ticket collector stayed and many people went to that way. Entry is one way. With parking allowed at start but itās risky to park there at the side of road. They also have a private parking at right which takes money.
We didnāt dare to go far to park. And paid 50 Rs for car, which I guess was good decision. As later when leaving there was huge traffic jam and this parking had alternate with to go out. Though as we walked ahead there was some free parking board ahead.
As we moved towards the temple you can appreciate scenic beach, and cool breeze. There is free chappal stand just besides and then the line starts. At start it was only 2 lines but later as devotees increased they had to increase the lines. Then we moved in. There are 6 more lines to move away and might take approx 30 min to cover it up.
It was hot, and me being an adolescent now and combined with hot temperature was getting irritation from children climbing pole š«£. I might have beaten anyone š¤£. But I controlled and move inā¦
Ahead there is counter for Abhishek (Pavti) we went aheadā¦. Go the beautiful Temple. Outside the police told to move fast as they will be closing line. Inside also everyone was fast. But one could see that beautiful self incarnated Ganesha idol. It was such a beautiful š¤©. We quickly prayed and pushed out.
Then we enjoyed outside. Some view of beach. Had photos, seat, talk. There is also place for mukhah Darshan.
As we walked out there is Prasad Counter. Where you get 2 āBundhichaā Ladoo for 25 Rs. we had it there only and moved out.
Outside there was huge traffic jam and thank god the place where we parked had an alternate route....
