Apsara Uniforms — Attraction in Mumbai

The worst shop ever!! Never ever buy anything from this place.

I had placed an advance order of 2 sets for my child's regular uniform with them by making a full advance payment on 29th Jan 2022.

After umpteen calls and a stinker asking for a refund, they gave me two pairs of uniform on 9th Feb. However, the skirt was not as per the school directions. So I asked him to refund the money for the skirt as I had waited enough to procure the uniforms. He disagreed to do that and said I had to take what he was giving. I refused and left the skirts at his shop.

On 11th Feb morning I went to the shop with the police officers from the local chowki asking them for help.

As directed by the police officer Mr Gawde on duty there I took the matter to the Main Police station in Vile Parle East at the airport. Apsara Owner, Mr. Shah was also called there.

The senior officer acknowledged that the mistake was on part of Mr. Shah & advised him that he was to meet the teachers and prepare 2 new skirts as per their instructions, inform me the number of days he would take to make them and then deliver them to me. He was therefore instructed to meet the teachers for the same.

If Mr. Shah would not comply then official action would be taken against him.

I waited 10 more days but there was no reply by the store nor did he follow any guidelines from the police. Today morning on 22 Feb I once again visited the Vile Parle police station and approached Inspector Haresh Tandel. The previous officers were not on duty today and these were different cops. I explained them the matter and the officer called the shop where he was informed that they had already delivered the uniforms to me and forwarded a fake receipt. I was astonished by their lies and the way they conducted business.

I showed him my receipts to the police who asked me to go to chowki again and he guided Inspector Bhushan Jadhav to accompany me to the shop.

Upon seeing the police without any fuss the owner quickly handed me the 2 skirts! I asked the shop owner how come they lied to the police about haven given me the skirts!

I went to the station to thank the senior inspector and inform him that I had received the uniform. On hearing that the shop owner had lied about the receipt Inspector Haresh called and warned them about lying to the police and that he would take action against them if they ever received any complaint against them.

Please don't EVER EVER buy anything from here. I have made a formal complaint even to the SVKM trustees to know of...

Zero customer service. We bought a pair of shoes size 8 yesterday. When we reached home we realised he packed one shoe of size 8 and one of size 6. Today we went to return it. He refused to give a refund. Says once GST bill is issued he cannot give a refund. This is the first time I am hearing that once a GST bill is issued a refund cannot be given. Amazon, H& M and many others give refunds after an invoice is made.

Basically he is a cheat and since he has a monopoly as schools tie up with him he just refuses to refund money once he has it in his pocket. He even had the cheek to tell me that he had not packed the shoes but his worker packed it and hence it is not his fault. I asked him whether I had employed his worker. But basically he is a shameless person and no amount of speaking to him works with him. I had to eventually buy an extra set of the sports uniform to adjust the money. This is his strategy to get an extra sale. Once the money is given to him u can forget about any refunds from him. Total cheat. If as a school / parent u can avoid dealing with this shop pl do. The first time he stitched a school pant for my 5 year old he stitched pants which were falling down and he was insisting that I take them. How can one take pants which fall down when a kid wears them. Absolutely zero at customer service. He thinks he is doing us a favour by supplying school uniforms...

I bought Sun 3 fold auto close Umbrella from Apsara worth Rs.975. The mechanism got failed in 1 week for which I had to wait for 1 month. When it got repaired the main handle was replaced by a Rusted handle for which I had to fight for getting my new brand handle again.

After a Week's time, again locking mechanism failed and when I visited the store, sales staff behaved rude and it was absolutely unprofessional. When I asked for a replacement of this faulty Umbrella for which I visited them 3 times, the Salesman replied it's your mistake who bought Umbrella, we can't cater all your concerns and asked me to visit Sun Umbrella's main dealers in Charniroad. After spending almost Rs.1000, such comments can't be tolerated from such fool salesman. If Google had negative rating system for such vendor, I would have given that as well...
