I wanted to visit this place situated right in front of Vile Parle station for a many time now. However my start to the dining experience here was not that good as the Munchau soup did not taste that good and I was left disappointed. I again was not happy when I saw there are no Tandoori starters on the menu. However things changed when I ordered for the starters and they were just amazing, something I had never tasted before. Be called for Aloo Paratha, Panipuri, Paneer chilli, veg crispy, Paneer Hakka And all of them tasted just amazing. The mains were even better in the form of Paneer Musallam and Veg Kadai. For the rice section, I ordered the veg bought rice and it was just out of the world. My overall experience at this place was amazing apart from the soup taste. However I would like to go here again and taste other options available in Jain as well. Would surely recommend this place for families and friends on a get together and looking out for some good food and better taste experience.

Went there on Sunday morning around 8:30 and it was quite crowded, although, they have sufficient seating (sharing table). I tried their Mysore masala dosa and it was very different and interesting. First of all, considering that the restaurant claims to be a South Indian joint, this was a shock. It missed the red/orange Mysore chatani inside the dosa, which is my favourite, and instead haf a green chatani made from fresh coconut. The masala also was more of kurma with less potato and more coconut and other stuff. Although, the taste was not bad, but I wouldn’t suggest trying this if you really want to have Mysore masala dosa. Update: tried their sambar Wada. It was really good. The sambar was piping hot and tasty. They gave additional bowl of sambar. Tried their filter coffee, it was good but very expensive- 90 rs. Avoid coffee.

I am writing this review for the Hotel Ramakrishna. I recently visited Mumbai and was searching for a hotel to stay near Ville Parle Station, close to the airport. I found this good hotel to stay. I booked the hotel on call with some token amount. It is a very good hotel with good facilities (except no complementary water bottles). They have good rooms (saw 2-3 rooms and selected the one good for me). The rooms are clean with a working AC and good lighting. The washroom was clean with an ample amount of water supply. I did not see any cockroaches or mosquitoes in the room. The staff is courteous and helpful. They have multiple options in buffet breakfast, which they arrange in Shabri (inhouse restaurant). Adding some photos of the hotel, forget to take photos of the room.

A classic South Indian cuisine restaurant that's been around for decades. Located right opposite the eastern exit of Vile Parle railway station, this eatery caters to 2 different categories of clientele - the commuters and business executives out for a quick bite/lunch without burning a hole in the pocket, and the well heeled local residents (mainly Gujaratis) who populate this part of Mumbai. The former are well served by the classic Udupi style fast service section on the lower level, and the latter in the air-conditioned section upstairs. They also serve tasty standard Punjabi fare and some Chinese stuff, but are best known for their Southern fare. The air-conditioned sectioned is immensely popular with the Gujarati business community who swamp the place at dinner time. Strictly vegetarian, the Food quality is amazingly consistent over 3 decades that I have patronized this restaurant. Don't be surprised if you see passengers just off an morning flight making a beeline for their Dosas, idli, vada or other south indian breakfast item. Their reputation has spread across cities and is a kind of 'must visit' destination similar to Anand Bhavan or Mysore Cafe at Matunga. So try this place whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Just around the corner and connected through an internal passageway is another section that has a bar, serves liquor and another restaurant for patrons who would like to drink and dine. This section too is very popular with families and you will likely find businessmen with their families unwinding after wrapping up the day and closing their...

Ram Krishna Restaurant in Ville Parle, Mumbai, is a fantastic spot that perfectly blends traditional Indian flavors with a welcoming, vibrant ambiance. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and courteous staff ready to assist you. The interior is well-maintained and clean, making it an ideal place for a family meal or a casual dining experience.

The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes, including North Indian, South Indian, and Maharashtrian specialties. The dosas and thalis are must-tries—authentic, delicious, and served with flavorful chutneys and sambhar. The paneer tikka and butter chicken are cooked to perfection, with rich and aromatic gravies that truly satisfy your cravings.

Service is efficient; orders are promptly taken and delivered without unnecessary delay, even during busy hours. It's clear that the staff is well-trained and genuinely cares about making your dining experience memorable. Prices are reasonable given the quality and quantity of food, making it a great value-for-money destination.

The restaurant can get crowded, especially during peak meal times, but that speaks volumes about its popularity. It’s a testament to Ram Krishna’s reputation in the local community for consistently serving high-quality food. Overall, it’s a reliable go-to spot for hearty Indian meals in Ville Parle, combining taste, affordability, and warm service. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine in a...
