Girgaum Chowpatty is a very popular spot amongst the Mumbaikars. It is an all seasonal spot where people prefer going to during summer, winter or monsoon rains. You can find a lot of couple enjoying themselves in this sandy beach with the cool breeze and a fabulous sea view. The entry is free for all. There are a lot of initiatives take by the government and NGOs to clean and beautify thia place. So please be mindful of throwing any waste around here. It is easily accessible from the Charni Road station on the Western local train line. It is just opposite to this station. If you are on a tour to Nariman Point you can take walk through Marine Drive to reach Chowpatty which is a very pathway to walk on enjoying the sea on one side. But please be mindful of the distance which is approximately 3 kms from Nariman point to Girgaum Chowpatty but its worth the walk. Though there are a lot of vendors on the way, you can definitely enjoy a lot of snacks at Chowpatty though a reasonable price. The choices vary from pav bhaji, bhel puri, pani puri, sev puri, pulav, dosa and all. Also you can enjoy a variety of deserts and ice creams especially the famous Chowpatty Kulfi ice cream. There are stalls for sweet pan also available of different varieties. Lot of people who visit Mumbai on vacations prefer going to Chowpatty for a glimpse of the sea. A very good part is the mats or chatai available on rent for a meagre amount of Rs 30 till the time you want. The vendors keep roaming around with the mats or chatai and place it for you wherever you like to sit after you are done, just pay the rent and leave the mat there and you are ready to go. There is a free drinking water facility. A few water sports have been started here which can be accessed by visiting there stalls available in the Chowpatty itself. Hope you too have a great time here with family, friends and kids. PLEASE DO HIT THE LIKE BUTTON IF YOU LIKE...

What a view, The Breeze, The feel and the queen's necklace what we call it.. It's just wow and mesmerising.. Loved the place.. I visited the Marine Drive first time in 2017 during my Mumbai Darshan.. Superb Experience.. Highly Highly Recommended 10 Stars 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟 Chowpatty Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Mumbai. Located in the heart of the city, this beach is most popular for its local delicacies which most people enjoy whenever they visit Chowpatty Beach. Watching the glorious sunsets from this beach is a sight worth seeing! This beach is a retreat from a tedious routine for many. Most people visit this beach to relax after a long, tiring day. People of all age-groups come here to enjoy the scenic beauty offered by the beach. The sea, adorned by its long stretch of white sand in addition to the magnificent sky above, is like a heavenly dream for anyone who visits this beach. One can find beach vendors selling balloons, toys and local dishes such as spicy raw mango, roasted peanuts and Mumbai fast-food (or chaats). Tourists who visit Mumbai make it a point to visit this beach to experience the peaceful and serene atmosphere. People come here with their friends and families to spend several hours on this relaxing spot. A stroll on Mumbai's Chowpatty Beach will guarantee you an experience of a lifetime. To experience a divine feeling, one can visit Chowpatty Beach anytime of the day. Crowd is considerably less during the wee hours of the mornings while evenings are just jam-packed. It is not a good idea to visit the beach during the monsoon season because high tides and water logging makes the place quite dangerous. The best time to visit Chowpatty Beach is between the months of October to March. During the festival of 'Ganesh Chathurthi', idols of 'Ganesh' are immersed into the sea as a part of the celebrations and that presents quite a sight for...

Chowpaty | Mumbai If you're a street food enthusiast, this is the place to be! Nestled near Juhu Beach, it offers an authentic taste of Mumbai's culinary scene. Mindful of hygiene, we found clean spots with proper protocols in place. The raw green mango with spices was a unique delight—tarty yet balanced with Indian spices. Pav Bhaji, a classic, impressed with its creamy tomato goodness, despite the generous butter on the bun. My favorite was the Chinese Bhel—crunchy fried noodles mixed with veggies and spices—a delightful twist. Bhel, akin to Indian nachos, was a crunchy, tangy treat. Sev Puri, with its delicious, spicy water, was a hit, though I limited myself to just two servings. Finally, the Kesar Kulfi was a perfect end—a not-too-sweet ice cream treat with a melt-in-your-mouth consistency. It gets packed here on the weekend! It’s fun to come explore all the different dishes these amazing chefs have to offer! I’m giving it 5 star as it’s safe fun and great food. You do have to access which place is clean and what not.
