Pimlico Kothrud — Restaurant in Pune

Restaurants was open on date Feb 10 2022, It had been long time since I went out so I was looking for a good atmosphere and they kinda dilivered but not really, I mean the place was visually pleasing but the thing I was attracted to (saw online pics) was the Rose's and the were so dull that it reminded me of cemetary (they need to be retouched) I can understand the furniture being old and loosing colour but killing the main attraction is self sabotage, the next thing the ought to improve is the playlist they play cause I think no one in the management, has heard the song they play (they are boring) atleast according to me or any other reviewers for that matter the song should take the customer to familiar place where they can vibe and be happy to sign along in mind,(PPL can discover new songs on Spotify) play some main stream for god's sake, So these things should be improved, Moving on to food(The dish was from continental section) ... The waiting time was Ok-ish you could have a good amount of conversation within that time so no worries there, my friend said his chiken steak was undercooked to which I disagree, the steak was definitely good but alas we can't expect it to be like real steak 🥩 , Ha if you are trying Mashed Potatoes ask them for salt cause I don't know what happened there but the chef sent us overworked (non-fluffy) and plain tasting goop (I had tasted better) and couldn't the afford chives they topped it of with corrender, it was smooth but I didn't taste any butter or salt for that matter (why was it so plain i don't understand) thank God there was bbq sauce on steak I took advantage of it and the combo tasted better, and veggies were veggies nothing to add there, The Frappes were kinda the highlight cause nothing was wrong about them and honest they tasted great 😃👍, Moving on to hospitality I dropped my spoon to check the response of the staff, but not to my surprise I had to ask for new spoon and there was no steak knife 🥩 🔪 either with the dish or on the table, I mean you think they should know what goes with the dishes but 🤦‍♂️🤦🤦‍♀️, So I don't want to be too harsh they were good at communication and manner, even the manager did show any higher than thou attitude and asked if we enjoyed the meal and when I replied "We will think about it" to his question whether we will return to this restaurant? He was composed HONESTLY while writing this review I have decided to given them one more chance, but I hope they Improve on their flaws, other wise it would...

Pimlico is an instagramable cafe which has opened its new branch in Kothrud. Other than having an outstanding ambiance they also serve amazing food and refreshing drinks here.

The food that I had here are:

Paneer Kokori Kebab: A subtle yet chatpati kebab of paneer stuffed with a spinach filling and then cooked in a tandoor. The best part about the kebab was that the Paneer was extremely fresh, soft and Creamy, just the way it has to be.

Chicken Hunter: This preparation of tikka style chicken was one of the best tikkas that I have ever had. Sweet and spicy at the same time with the smoky flavour was outstanding.

Crispy Cheesy Vegetables: This was a starter that was like a croquette of vegetables which was stuffed with cheese. Just amazing.

Butter Chicken Pizza: An exotic Italian-Indian fusion dish which was rich in flavour. The pizza is thin crust and the taste is also great.

BBQ Cottage Cheese Pizza: A vegetarian delicacy that every paneer lover will like for sure.

Risotto: Creamy pasta preparation. Have it with the toasted garlic bread served with the risotto and thank me later. Mushroom Corn Fricasse: Creamy Mushroom with corn in a gravy form with some rice on the side. BBQ Chicken Steak: The chicken was truly fresh, tasty and juicy. The barbeque sauce was just perfect sweetness and was also spicy at the same time. It is served with Mashed potatoes and Stir-fried Vegetables. Roasted Garlic Chicken with Lemon Potatoes: This dish was a dish that has my heart. The chicken was well cooked and the sauce was also creamy and scrumptious. Served with Stir fried Vegetables and Lemon potatoes that was just amazing.
