Mahatma Gandhiji and his wife Kasturbaji were interned in this palace in 1942 after the declaration of the '"Quit India Resolution"'.

He was accompanied by Miraben, Shri. Pyarelal Nayar, Smt. Sarojini Naidu, Dr. Sushila Nayar and his personal secretary , Shri.Mahadevbhai Desai.

I've visited this place in the aunday morning 🌄 around 10 AM. The crowd was very less.

You need to buy ticket from Archelogical society of India website. You can find the scanner at the entrance. Ticket price = Rs. 20 per person.

The place is not so big. Time spend will depend on how much time you spent in each gallery to know the history.

This place is dedicated to Gandhi Ji's journey to get freedom. You can find samadhi of kasturba gandhi and mahatma gandhi's secretary.

Only allowed to visit the One floor(Ground floor).

Very peace place to visit and gain some knowledge about our history.

You can find toilets and drinking water inside.
