First thing first, this is not my first visit to "The Flour Works". I have been here plenty of times especially for there desserts and Hot Chocolate. But this time I was here for food then for dessert, of course, there are desserts involved but it was secondary.
Ambience - Finding this place is very easy, parking is a bit of an issue on rush hours so be a bit early so that you'll get parking. There are two different seating area's Indoor and Outdoor I personally love indoor seating as its like old English cafe, Outdoor is more of a seating in the backyard of some house but on rush hours it'll be noisy out there.
Service - It's not that awesome but they know their menu well and that helps a lot while ordering food. Sometimes order takes more time than normal this is totally depend on how busy it is in there.
Food - I know I said it's not about dessert but I can't stop my self from ordering Hot chocolate so my first order was two 'Hot chocolate (Orange and spiced)' Orange Hot Chocolate - This one is well balanced hot chocolate, smooth and creamy texture with orange zest and a hint of orange in each sip. Spiced Hot Chocolate - is good but it would be awesome if spices are infused in chocolate instead of adding it on top. Grilled chicken breast with a spicy caramel glaze and sautéed mushrooms - chicken was tender and juicy it was well complemented by sautéed mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Spicy caramel glaze could be bit thicker. Pasta tossed with a spicy fresh tomato sauce - Spaghetti was cooked perfectly (al dente) tomato sauce was well-coated pasta so each bit had that tangy and spicy taste to it.
NO desserts after this. But one thing is clear it was my go-to place for some awesome pasta and dessert and it will be my go-to place for pasta...

Read moreNote: I have had only a couple of items from the menu, so donot take my review as the final word about the food.
The Basil pesto pizza was nice. Pesto was well made, so was the crust. It was a bit too dry for my taste, maybe I would have liked something like cherry tomatoes (very personal opinion), or more bell peppers than they put... but it was decent. Will try their desserts next time, along with some other European main course. Menu is interesting(veg menu).
The sitting arrangement, interiors and the location are aaawesome. Loved it. The chairs are nice, but they're too heavy. They don't move easily. I had to help my mother for the same.
Good Kid- friendly furniture is present.
Some problems I faced:
The area outside had a garbage juice-like smell. Mostly it might not be the restaurant's fault, might be the sewage below. Maybe it was temporary, but I'm just letting you all know and also the owners if they can take any action on it :)
The service I got was very sub par, I must be honest. I went there at around 11 am.
Parking space hunting will be a bit hard especially during rush hours. Two wheeler recommended.
Apologies for talking so much. But I thought I needed to put everything out...
