This hotel should be stripped of its 5 star rating. Other than the opulent lobby and restaurants, it lacks anything worthy of a 5 star be it the rooms or the staff especially the reception staff. The arrogance and indifferent attitude of reception staff is something of a novelty in hotels of any rating. They just handed us the keys to our room and we were left on our own to find the floor, room or the amenities in the room. The room was badly designed and dirty and dingy. There was dirt on lampshades, below the bed, and on other surfaces. The rooms face each other and the glass is transparent so leaving curtains open meant others could see into your room. There is basic frosting on the bathroom toilet window so you can see others in various stages of dressing or undressing unless the curtains are closed. Again closing curtains led to a dark dingy dirty room. There is no list of numbers to call in the room. We randomly dialed guest services or in room dining. Service is very slow and pathetic. The TV is small and lacks any viewable channels since almost nothing is subscribed to. The TV in our room was not working. Had to call multiple times to have some one take a look. Turns out set-top box was not working. There was barely lukewarm water to bathe. Complaining didn't result in any change. AC works well except they shut it off at night so a cold room becomes hot in the middle of the night waking people. The restaurants are good and staff there is polite, helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet is vast but lacked variety on a daily basis. Food is good. Again reception staff was unhelpful when I wanted to extend my stay for a day although they had rooms available. They told me they have centralized booking and I can't book at the reception although I was already staying there for 3 days. Next day I saw them processing a booking on the counter but I had to book online. This is the most ridiculous answer I have heard at any hotel. Check out was incredibly long due to being stuck with an arrogant slow brainless staff. Took her hours to print my bill. She reprinted because apparently a bill I asked another staff to save went for recycling in less than 24 hours. She even had the audacity to ask me for feedback and rating although she could see I was in a hurry and my husband was waiting and calling impatiently. We are not rude people so I kept asking her to politely expedite and being nice I gave the hotel a better rating than I should have. The honest opinion is this is a third rate hotel with poor management and a reception staff that needs to be stacked immediately. They have majority corporate clients but honestly corporates should not waste money here instead try better hotels nearby. If you are traveling with family or personal visit, avoid this pathetic place and save your...

This was a stay for 4 days, with multiple agendas- attending a wedding and meeting up with friends and cousins in Pune. The hotel staff was extremely courteous and child friendly. Our lil one was asked to fill her own form while we were checking-in.. And based on her likes as mentioned in the form she received a surprise complimentary cupcake and cookies with her favourite character drawn in chocolate. The room was compact and but well planned. Our booking included breakfasts - the all day dinning restaurant "Eighty Eight", was the venue for the buffet breakfast. We were taken care by Mr.Pappu and were constantly checked upon by the manager Mr.Krish. The spread was good with the cuisine ranging from the local to the continental. There were live counters for eggs, waffle, pancakes etc. There was live music - flute which was soothing... The swimming pool on the 12th floor was a joy, for it was very well designed and lined with champa trees. It had a well designated children pool area. It was open from 7:00a.m till 9:00 p.m. and were facilitated with lounge chairs and beds as well as towels. The experience in the night was even better with the lighting and slightly cooler temperatures. The valet services was prompt on most times and we were always attended with a smile.

The location though seemed far to those we visited. We were completely okay with the to and fro travel to extends as the traffic was always moving and Pune has wider roads than Mumbai.

What I thought could've be addressed better are as follows- The hot water kettle wasn't in working condition and was replaced on request. I strongly believe this issue shouldn't crop up at all. A bedside light was not working.. The tea and coffee sachets were replenished only after a reminder post room service. some of the channels on the TV were unsubscribed during the stay.. This might sound pety but it's an concern.. After all this is a 5 star rated property.

The only time we had dinner here.. We opted for the buffet as our lil one had more options hereb than the menu in the restaurants of the hotel. The spread for a buffet dinner in a 5 star property seemed limited ( this is in comparison to what we've experienced in Mumbai) the live counters for pakodas was deserted, and only after enquiry I could get one mirchi pakoda- after it had sat on a plate for it be cold. Mutton was served only in preparation ( jungli mass) - it was inconsistent with few pieces chewy and undercooked. The chat counter was good, however the curd was on sour side..

And the painting and the repair work in the corridor leading to our room was irksome.. The smell of the fresh paint and pop work in a controlled environment.. Not...

I have visited in month of December to hyaat pune kalyani nagar Being a member i had some points which I wanted to use..

while booking it through reservation dept on call the person said u can check at the desk while check in the hotel for details

When i reached there was a male executive, who attended me he asked me to pay the full amount before check in when i asked the reason as I always used to clear after checkout, so he said the system has been changed which was quite ok ….

I told him i have some points i want to utilise them pls let me know how ??

I am myself asking them !!!

Instead I believe being in service industry they c can themselves give them the information for the same!!!

If someone himself is asking, I believe you should be helpful at that point. Instead, the person said u pay the amount of which you have booked the rooms and while while Check out will see to it what we can do … !!

And at the same next day There was one lady who was clearing out the bill for me and the boy was there. I told lady about the incident then the same guy answered me ohhhh you would had told me before that you want to utilise ?!

i thought u want information about how our point system works😂😂

mannn im not a fool if we have hyat in mumbai too if im travelling to this property just cause i have experienced good hospitality before ! even after asking them what can we do i simply got the answer noooo the payment was done yesterday…:: We can’t help you in this 🥲

I just want to say if u have any targets to complete? Say clearly we dont look for customer satisfaction its just the money

And also there was one wedding going on around pool area ?? Soo i belive when we book we get the complete information that pool will be non functional as the wedding is going on why somone is booking in 5 star to enjoy the hospitality… how some of our females gets comfortable around 100 s of people roaming around pool area ?? When i asked at the desk they said they u have to call to the spa facility the spa facility doesn’t know when the wedding will get finished was just getting the answer will call you ???

Is that a HOSPITALITY??

When entered at the pool next day the water was too cold ? U god !!!! You cant even step in !!! So u dont want ppl to use it ? Then why u have made it ?? U can adjust the temperature of the pool water ?!! I felt like why did i choose to come and wasted the money ??

Sinse i posted a review im december im reposting it how careless this hyaat people...

A Mixed Experience at Hyatt Pune I recently stayed at Hyatt Pune for 2 nights and 3 days, courtesy of my company's booking. While the location and service were noteworthy, I couldn't help but feel disappointed with certain aspects. Room (2/5): The room, in my opinion, was quite small, which detracted from the overall comfort of my stay. A more spacious environment would have greatly enhanced the experience. Food (2/5): Dining at the hotel left much to be desired. The dinner options were limited, and the pricing of Rs 1800 seemed excessive for what was offered. Similarly, the breakfast was merely average. I believe there is significant room for improvement in terms of food quality and variety. Location (4/5): On a positive note, the hotel's location deserves commendation. It is conveniently situated, making it easy to access various attractions and amenities in the area. Service (3/5): The service at Hyatt Pune was generally good, with staff members being attentive and courteous. However, there is still room for enhancement to reach a flawless level. In conclusion, while the location and service were highlights of my stay, the small room size and subpar food options left me with a less-than-ideal impression. I hope the management takes note of these aspects and works towards improving the overall guest experience. My ratings reflect this mixed sentiment - Room (2/5), Food (2/5), Location (4/5), and Service (3/5).

Location 4.5 Infrastructure 4.0 Restaurant. 4.0 Rooms 4.0 Maintenance 5.0 Staff 5.0 (Please note, the ratings are comparing hotels of similar class) Hyatt Pune, is quite centrally located in the sense that you can go in any direction and most locations are equidistant. Being next to Agah Khan Palace surely helps. It’s just 10 min drive from the airport. The hotel and the setup is quite generic for a lux business hotel. Nothing breathtaking but served the purpose very well. Standard room could have been a bit bigger, but served a single occupant well. Amenities like tea/ coffee, minibar, toiletries were well stocked. The toilet and washroom was super clean and so was the room. On the food side, used their buffet services only. Both breakfast and dinner buffet were good, but not great. Continental Breakfast was quite monotonous after the second day, and can do with some variations and stuff which taste better. Indian side of kitchen had better diversity and taste. The desserts section of the dinner was dominated with cakes and pastries, which were sometimes hard to differentiate. The area where Hyatt certainly excelled was the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff were super helpful and very efficient. Gopal at the restaurant gets special mention. Overall Hyatt provided a pleasant stay and a reason to visit again 👍

!! OVERALL GOOD!! Detailed Review Below. I stayed here for my anniversary. It’s a five star hotel, but since property is old it is lacking that premium feel to some extent. ROOM: We took a king room. Room is spacious, bed size enough for two adults and toddler, furniture slightly old, washrooms neat and clean, no bathtub in King room, refrigerator, minibar (paid), kettle, Bluetooth speaker with FM, work desk, couch, TV, iron etc is there FOOD: Buffet dinner and breakfast is offered at Eighty Eight Restaurant out of 3 restaurants (Ban Tao and Fishbowl). Ambience of Eighty Eight is Nice, staff is well behaved and cooperative. Dinner is not really worthy, less options for vegetarians and food taste is also not very great, left disappointed. Breakfast was good and had a lot of options, South Indian food was great in taste. OTHER AMENITIES: Free Valet Parking, Swimming pool with sitout area, Steam, Sauna all 3 are included in the stay (free of cost). Spa and salon is also there at paid basis. Complementary cake if you are staying there for any special occasion. Baby Crib free on request. Overall Good Stay! Recommended if you are looking a close to 5 star experience at reasonable cost, as the property is aged.
