When it comes to food been offered, they really served a lavish spread, right from the mocktails to the starters till mains.
Few of the star dishes were - Nadru Chips- Lotus stem or Nadroo is a very popular vegetable in Kashmir, which is grown in the shallow waters of Dal and Wular lakes. They turned the dish into nice crispy bites with chatpata flavour on every evenly diced bites.
Mutton paya soup- every dish that taste delicious even when its cold is what I vote for. What I liked about the dish the most was the strong masalas which left a punch after every bite.
Charcoal Kebab- Charcoal have got fan followers, yet if used excessive can leave your mouth a taste you wouldn't like. They did decent work on the masalas and tenderly cooked chicken breasts.
Kachori kebab- Chicken kebab perfectly cooked, well marinated so delicate you could get it melted in your mouth.
Tandoori lollipop chicken - Chicken wings seems to be a commonly used item, but when it comes to tandoori twist the chicken needs to be fresh and well marinated. Fresh cause the wings will leave it's strong odour on every bite.
Junglee Lal Maas - Mutton kebab compared to other starters served it was considerably at higher side of spice level. Would want it more softer though.
Tandoori Soya Chaap - Another simple dish yet tricky if it's not well marinated, otherwise it will leave with bland flavor. Good marinated, equally cooked at perfection.
For mains, Star of the dishes was two dish to be precise.
Chicken Biryani, why cause it was not those extra loaded masalas but the aroma could melt your heart away, surely can't stop at one bite. The chicken cooked were soaked in the masala and the flavoured rice , loads and loads of ghee were enough to drive your mind crazy. Honestly after ages I loved the most common dish I consume. Great work!!
-Rista and Gushtaba, meat balls soaked in the type of gravy you would like , one is the red spicy gravy and second is the buttery curd based gravy, both the kashmiri speciality. What I loved about it was the mutton balls, so spongy so tender, I could gulp the entire ball in one go not realising.
They also served veg gravies like Paneer lababdar, Dal Makhani with Steam Rice. And Chef's Style Butter Chicken served with roti basket with a variety of Indian breads.
For desserts, gajar ka halwa and star dish, White Chocolate Brownies topped with Freezed chocolate Sauce and Vanilla Ice cream. Wow dish cause I have honestly never had this variation of brownie and nothing to boost I really relished every bite I had.
Overall I relished on the food, the service and would recommend you guys visit to relish the wintery weather, open breezy wind and aa glass of your favorite alcohol or mocktails and amazing kashmiri or North Indian meal where you won't be disappointed on their service.
