The statue of Maharana Pratap is 11 feet high, with a weight of 7 tonnes. It was built in 1948 by Maharana Bhagwat Singh. The pearl hill is a spot of luscious greenery and is a perfect spot to look down upon the city of Udaipur. Many tourists enjoy a stroll along the small hill and capture the beauty of the city, amid the beautiful view of the Aravalli Hills in the background. It is a great spot to learn the history of the great warrior that was Maharana Pratap, and the Haldighati battle that it is paying tribute to. There is a Japanese rock garden alongside the memorial, which has proven to be quite a tourist attraction of Moti Magri. People come to pay respects to the esteemed king who valiantly rebelled against the Mughal rule in India, and the stories of Maharana Pratap are very common in Udaipur, which can be delved deeply into at Moti Magri. Maharana Pratap’s beloved Arab horse Chetak was his most loyal companion, and the history of Mewar associates the two together. They offers sound and light show every evening. One can know history at moti magri. Look of FS is good and lovely. Good place. Entrance fee is high. Not worth for the money.
