A Great Pocket-Friendly Veg Spot Near Alandur Metro!
Visited Hotel Annapoorna Veg Restaurant near Alandur Metro Station around 4:30 PM – a relatively less busy time, which made for a peaceful and relaxed dining experience. I dropped by for a quick tiffin to satisfy my hunger and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and value for money.
I ordered a chapati, which was soft, fresh, and served hot – tasted really good. After spotting the sundal at the counter, I couldn’t resist trying it, and it turned out to be a great decision. Paired it all with a classic filter coffee, which hit the spot perfectly.
What stood out to me was how budget-friendly everything was, especially when compared to nearby options like A2B and Sangeetha. The quality was not compromised at all, making it a great place for everyday eats without breaking the bank.
The restaurant is a decent 40-seater, clean and comfortable. There's also an outdoor seating area with around 8 seats, perfect if you're just stopping by for a quick coffee or snack. They have parking space for around 3 cars and bikes, which is a big plus in this area.
Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick, satisfying vegetarian meal near the metro. Ideal for casual visits, small groups, or solo diners looking for tasty, affordable tiffin or snacks.

Read moreI visited your restaurant on 29th July 2025, Tuesday, for dinner. I ordered parotta and it was served on time, with no delay in service, which I appreciate.
However, I was very disappointed to find a Diamondback moth larva (commonly known as “pulu”) in the veg kurma that was served. When I brought this to the attention of the server, his response was very casual — stating, “It will be on cauliflower.” This kind of reply was extremely unprofessional and concerning.

I sincerely request you to take this feedback seriously and ensure better quality checks and staff training in handling such...
