Honest Review of Hotel Hablis, Chennai: Disappointing Stay with Malfunctioning Appliances
Arrival & Initial Room:
My excitement about staying at Hotel Hablis quickly turned into disappointment upon arrival. The initial room assigned to me had several malfunctioning appliances, including the TV, phone, and kettle. This left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced, especially after a long journey.
Attempts to Fix & Room Change:
I promptly informed the hotel staff about the issues. While they were apologetic and attempted to fix the appliances, their efforts were unsuccessful. Due to the non-functioning amenities, I requested a room change. Unfortunately, even the second room offered no respite, as the appliances there were equally unusable.
Mid-Night Disruption & Frustration:
Having to change rooms in the middle of the night significantly disrupted my sleep and added further stress to the situation. It was incredibly frustrating to find myself facing the same problems all over again, despite the inconvenience of the initial room change.
Impact on My Stay:
The malfunctioning appliances significantly impacted my stay at Hotel Hablis. I was unable to relax or enjoy the amenities I expected, and the constant disruptions caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Areas for Improvement:
To improve guest experiences, Hotel Hablis should prioritize ensuring all appliances are in proper working order before assigning rooms. Additionally, addressing technical issues promptly and efficiently is crucial to prevent further frustration for guests.
Overall:
While the hotel staff was apologetic, the repeated malfunctioning appliances and the inconvenience caused by the room change made my stay at Hotel Hablis far from enjoyable. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to others unless they can guarantee properly functioning amenities and a smoother guest experience.
Very poor experience at this price point. Cheaper properties have better amenities and response. This left a dark shadow on my ...

Read moreI have stayed in Hablis for more than 20 days. I know pretty much about hotel. Hotel is good but service is worst. Hotel Staffs are having lots of attitude but lagging in actual skill of service.
I have break up my experience in three parts.
Room Service: They are just okay. Some times they won't come to clean. Even if they come, you have guide them like keep the water bottle, change the bedsheet, clean the cattle etc.
I have literally starved for water and called the reception for help. Worst part is reception people has failed to provide a bottle of water.
Breakfast: Fruits and Juice are test like chemical(Very unhygienic). In name of fruit they are just giving papaya, pineapple and muskmelon. Their Milkshake test like hell. Never try it. They have good noodles but keep in bufay only if very few people are there to eat. Otherwise they will replace noodle with rice You can ask Chefs to cook dosa or omlett. But they will show you attitude like I won't cook do whatever you want to do. I have asked them five times for single in a morning they refuse to give and I left without eating dosa. Some times you would not find place to seat and water to drink. lot of their serving people are looked completely lost.
3.Reception: These people are the worst in their complete hotel. They are just bunch of people standing and doing nothing at reception. When I was starving for drinking water then I call to reception. They are no picking call. I have call them 10 times to get one bottle of water.
According me in all above three points people at reception are worst.
Very unhygienic and unhealthy hotel. I will suggest go for other hotel. It is not worth...
