I frequently go here. But it's not the old ID now. They have the same reduced quantity with less chutney and sambar. Small sized Vada and don't provide Tomato chutney/kaara chutney for some items until asked.

Ghee Pongal used to be really good which was not even warm that day.

But to my surprise service was better. We usually prepare our mind that we won't get any food for 10-15 minutes after we order and the order taking process usually takes another 5-10 minutes.

Another surprise was we visited the place prior to Onam day. They were celebrating Onam that day as well. Ladies dressed up in white saree etc... but my surprise was usually at 4.30 the hotel wouldn't be cleaned, swarmed with lots of flies and we had walked out a couple of times because of the poor cleanliness - BUT THAT WAS SUPER CLEAN. very very few flies which is negligible.

There was a GUY wearing black shirt - who was actually multi tasking - good to see - couldn't ask his name because he was discussing about staffs with other managers when we left.

He understood my husband had a low sugar and immediately brought The sweet we ordered. He cleaned all the plates spoons with tissues and ensured everything was neat. He was taking order, servicing, clearing plates and managing the staffs and breaks etc... Honestly he deserves a special mention here. I'll ask his name if he is available the next time. 3* are only for his service and his mindset was to serve the customer better.

To the management don't leave him. I have never seen an ID staff take this...

Ordered 4mini tiffin and Pongal with Vada for my family of 6 members among where there was an elderly person of age 72 and kids, around 9:45 am we ordered our food and around 10:15am the serving person comes with just 1masala dosa. When we asked for the remaining orders she said in 2mins they will bring it and around 10:40 am she came with 1pongal, the vada that should’ve come along with that was missing. The vada came 30 mins later by then the Pongal was over. The remaining of us including kids were just sitting there for so long that we had to cancel the remaining orders and leave the place . I did see you reply for some reviews saying shop manager will contact but let me remind you that the branch in Guindy doesn’t have a manger they just reply with a computerised message for all the reviews where no action will be taken making the review and the experience a waste of money and time. I wanted to give a zero but since there no option had to select 1 as a rating.To make it even worse there was water dripping right on my plate unable to eat the little grains of food they provided and when informed them got a cool reply saying that...

I visited the outlet yesterday evening and I was quite disappointed from the get go. There was no proper management on table allocation and there was a customer arguing with the staff about some issue that they faced. Then it took nearly 15 minutes just to get the water to the table and this was just ridiculous.

The order we gave was for Mysore Masala Dosa and Paneer Keema Dosa. The Mysore Masala Dosa was nothing special or didn't have anything different, was just like normal podi masala Dosa. Then on the Paneer Keema Dosa, it was even more atrocities with way too minimal Paneer which seems to have just been tossed in turmeric and nothing else. Above everything they price things like it's an 5 star place which is barely worth calling 2 stars on good days.

Waste or time and totally waste of money. Not even worth 100 Rs in total where the actual bill is nearly 400 Rs.. Never going back ever again and will also make sure that none of my relatives or friends go and waste their time and money at this...
