Dining disaster 😕 at kathipara branch 👎🏻 🚫

Worst service 😞👎! There are lots of issues in the branch in terms of food and service, owner pls beware of this in the Kathipara branch 🚨.

I ordered non-veg meals 🍴, they kept all the side dishes 🥗, but I didn't get the rice 🍚 for so long, I asked the waiter to serve it, he said fish curry is yet to be served... 🤔 I was like, why? Let it come, first serve the rice, so that I can start eating 🍴. After lots of hesitation and no response to my questions 🤷‍♂️ he served rice.

Moru moru chicken 🍗: there was no salt, no spice 😷, it was like a raw chicken coated with flour and deep fried 😷. I asked the waiter to taste it saying that there is no salt and it is very raw 🤢. He said it is for children, so there won't be any spice 🤔. Okay even though there was any mention in the menu or the waiter 📝, I accepted it... But children don't even add salt to their dish? 🤷‍♂️ I asked. You know what the response was from the waiter? "I'll cancel it in the bill" 💸. Suddenly he took the plate and went, didn't even ask what else I wanted instead 🙄.

I hand washed first 🚿 and my wife and kid went for a hand wash 🚿, so I waited at the same table for less than a minute ⏱️. A cleaning work woman suddenly came and told me, sir you can go and pay the bill at the counter 💸, so that I'll clean the table 🧹. Why? 🤔 There was no crowd and I'm not going to sit there all day, just 2 to 3 mins... ⏰ How can they ask the customer to leave the place for their work's sake? 🤷‍♂️

Problem: the real problem there is, no one was there to manage the workers... 🤦‍♂️ All seemed to be the same grade 📚. So nobody cared about others' faults and they are like autonomous bots 🤖 (you can't get any work from the waiter other than the allocated one,...

Today morning reached for breakfast as it's is open 24hrs. Ordered kal dosa and mutton curry dosa . Atleast they should have informed that it will take time to prepare the curry dosa but they took order . My friend completed his dosa and I waited for 48 minutes and then are saying it will take few more minutes. If you are not ready with the dish they why you have to take the order . My friend just had two kal dosa and I left with empty stomach as my hunger subsided . Cancel the curry dosa and paid for the other and left the place cursing About the service. I know JK will reply to this review saying they will take this as a feedback and work on it but the reality is the opposite and more over it was just me and my friend who was present inside the entire JK hotel except staffs. When just two person inside the hotel and their response is like this just think of at peak time. Moreover when leaving the hotel all the staff looked at me and gave a sarcastic smile and it looked like - idiot why did you come to disturb us .

This is utterly bitter experience ever in life . If they said to have a poison or go to JK Guindy I'll without doubt will drink poison rather than JK hotel slow poison service makeing the customer starve for hours and leave with empty stomach.

Well!! First time ever we went for a midnight dinner at 1.00AM on a saturday & first time to this brand , it was flooded with customers , the staff were trying to handle things but not up to the mark since 1 person knows whats available in the kitchen and the others just take the orders and ask them each and everytime. But thanks to the tech they have.. they have an app & place order through but still someone has to send that order through a recipt to the kitchen. Why 5 stars!! Well worth to wait since their food was mouth watering and they remember each & every orders or request that you make but gets delayed to execute. I recommend everything they serve. special mention Chicken Curry Dosai , Egg kothu parota , coin parota , idiyapam & idli with their jug of chicken kurma 😋.. Trust me its hard to find idli/idiyapam in midnight in chennai... I spoke to the manager and he said the crowd was less that day because they used to be crowded even in the garden area/ drive in areas till 4.30AM. Yes people The hotel has a drive in and garden sitting aswell... and the hotel located under the kathipara bridge is the high light.. peacefull and chills and a excellent night drive.. go to spot inside city.I guess chennai is ready for its Night Life. I saw kids, women, elderly enjoying the experience .. Ampfull car...
