Badsha and Begum Mahal (ASI Sculpture shed)

The two historic buildings of which one on left side from the entrance is called Begum mahal and the other on the right side is called Badsha mahal. Architecturally these buildings belong to British period. Both are massive buildings with two floors (ground and first). Both buildings are constructed with gigantic pillars and madras tiles roof. The first floor of these two buildings can be reached through the wooden staircase found in between these buildings. At present they are housing the sculptures, Hero stones, inscription slabs, bronze images, potteries, numismatic collection ranging from 8th to 16th century CE. Stone sculptures from surrounding villages are also housed in these buildings (presently these buildings are also called as ASI Sculpture shed.) The spaces outside these buildings are also utilized to exhibit stone Linga, Nandi, architectural stone pillars, sculptures and so on.
