Review of Msquare Hotel, Vellore:

My experience at Msquare Hotel in Vellore was a mixed bag. I opted for their hourly rent room, which turned out to be a convenient option for a short rest before a long drive. The room was spacious and tidy, albeit we had to settle for a family room due to the unavailability of double rooms. However, the bathroom facilities were subpar as some faucets were not working properly.

One thing to note is the pricing structure. I initially booked for three hours but later regretted not booking for six hours, as the additional charge for extra hours was quite steep at ₹250. It's advisable to book for at least six hours to avoid extra charges if you're opting for hourly booking instead of a full day.

Parking was a bit of an issue as the hotel doesn't offer parking facilities. There is a paid parking lot across the road, but crossing the busy road with luggage can be cumbersome and a bit risky.

Another inconvenience was the payment method for additional hours. The hotel does not accept online payments for extra hours, so it's essential to have cash on hand.

On the positive side, complimentary drinking water was provided, which was a nice touch.

As i travel to so many places all over the world but this hotel so far was my worst experience due to the manager Barkath Ali he is very rude and charges you extra money for the stay even though if you book from any website and you do the full payment still they will charge you extra money for extra person and they won't give you any extra facility and and top of that if you are using their kitchen they will charge you 150 per day extra even though if you are caring your own utensils but still they will charge 150 for the gas which is too much how ever location is good CMC hospital is just 8 mins walk also the lift in the hotel does not work most of the time you have to use stairs mostly so please be mindful of that otherwise the cleaners are very good and the manager Prashant is also very good but I would request you do not communicate with the manager Barkat Ali he will charge you more money for everything and he won't even listen to you this was my personal experience and was actually very bad so I would never recommend anyone to stay...

One decent affordable place in Vellore, if you are not having huge expectations. Lift is too small to either get in or out and unsafe looking, but will serve the purpose. Staff are just ok. No parking facility. Uncovered sewage is going just on the sides of the hotel with a horrible smell. (The whole place in and around vellore is reeking, so the smell is nothing new to mention.) Small rooms and very small washrooms are just ok, for the price. Bedding could do a little more better. Walls are a little dirty. For the price, this room(in the pic) is good. One person can fit inside the room pretty well. Other than that, proximity to CMC vellore, public transport and other average restaurants is the best from here. Some good resturants like Vellore kitchen and Hundred Heritage are around and you can book from zomato/swiggy, but never trust the review in google for all other resturants.
