New Hotel Broadway — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

had a wonderful stay at New Hotel Broadway and here are couple of reasons supporting my experience;||1. Thank you Sakshi (Reservation Manager) for providing us the family room at the last minute because we were running here and there for 2 hours while searching for the suitable hotels.||2. Assi Ghat, Kashi Vishwanath temple, BHU and Lanka area are the couple of spots which are nearby.||3. Thank you to Johny for arranging the darshan at Kashi Vishwanath temple, however we did not had a very good experience as one of the police officers and some people from South India misbehaved with my family and the pandit ji who helped us with the darshna was not available to handle the situation. I felt really sad while standing on the premises of Lord Shiva||4. We had a decent trip to Allahabad sangam which was arranged by Johny but once again panda's misbehaved with us at the Vindhyachal temple.||5. Additionally, the boat ride organized by Johny for the Dashashwamedh ghat was incredible and we learnt a lot about history of Benaras narrated by the guide.||6. Rooms - Family room was very comfortable with a decent city view. Moreover, sofa cum bed and King size bed can easily accommodate 4 people. It was well equipped with basic amenities but the drainage and shower were not working properly. Lastly, Benaras during the rainy season has lot of power issues, which were nicely managed by hotel Broadway.||7. Breakfast - It was basic and average in taste but enough to fill the stomach, however after 9:30, restaurant staff was unable to fill the buffet on time and we had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. Lastly, breakfast timings are 7:30 to 10:30 but was not setup at 7:30 am and we had to wait till 8:00 to access the buffet.||8. To summarise, every staff member was very polite and helpful not only in terms of behaviour but also taking care of requirements as per the needs.||||New Hotel Broadway showed a true hospitality in enhancing my memories with Benaras. Room is okay, no hot water, toilet basin etc dirty. Very noisy room. Difficult to sleep during night due to outside traffic noise. Even if I had requested specifically they have put me in such road side room. Food is very expensive even breakfast. No much choice for breakfast items or menu. But charge is around 350 rupees.

One more very important thing I must mention here::

While check out I even did not got a proper bill. The amount mentioned was there wrong. I stayed alone for the duration, but in the bill they have mentioned no of PAX=2 ! The manager mentioned that they will send the proper bill by e-mail, by the time I reach my place, "that would be there"! After coming back I e-mail they 3-4 times and called them nay times. But, they did not send, even till now I did got a proper Bill. They Manager always lies, some time he says "system is down", "staff on leave", or he says " yeah, yeah, just now we are sending"! Very bad experience! If somebody going on official duty and need an proper bills please try to avoid this Hotel...
