Appearance day of Radharaman

The appearance of Radharaman happened on the night of Sri Narasimha Jayanthi.

Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu had visited various places during his spiritual sojourn. During his visit to Srirangam, he had stayed along with the family of Sri Venkata Bhattar, who was also the priest of Sriranganatha temple, for 4 months.

The son of Sri Venkata Bhattar, Sri Gopala Bhatta Goswami, went on to become an ardent disciple of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Ranga Ranga Ranga

Once Gopalabhatta Goswami was continuously chanting the mahamantra Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Ram Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare at the banks of Kandagi river. At that time he got a sacred Damodara Saligramam. Along with that he also got 11 other saligramam. He was very happy and went to Vrindavan along with the 12 saligramams

Jai Shri Vrindavan

After several days at Vrindavan, during one Narasimha Jayanthi in the year 1543, Gopal Bhatta Goswami prayed that if he had an idol of the lord, he can decorate him every day and offer prayers, as all the objects of worship he had with him were in the form of Saligrama stone which cannot be decorated. As an answer to his prayers and wish, Lord Krishna manifested inside the Damodara Saligramam on the night of Shri Narasimha Jayanti

Jai Shri Radhe Krishna Satsangam

The next day morning when Gopala Bhatta Goswami woke up, he found that the lid of the palm leaf box which he had used to keep his saligramas safe, was out of place. Sri Goswami was worried that some rat or snake would have disturbed his saligrama.

Jai Shri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu

To his utter joy, Sri Goswami found that the damodara saligramam had transformed into a beautiful tribhangi roopa saligramam with one leg kept straight, the other beautifully bent a little, the hands kept in a position as if to indicate the flute, the face that adorned a beautiful little smile. Sri Goswami was in awe of the beautiful little idol who was Radhika Rani’s hero He danced, laughed and cried in joy.

RadhaRaman ki jai

Hearing the manifestation of lord in saligrama many had come to see the beautiful little idol. Sri Roopa Goswami and Sri Santana Goswami were also amongst the others who had visited the place. They validated the fact that the manifestation form was none other than Lord Krishna himself.

They celebrated the fact that Krishna appeared under the very same tree where he disappeared during the Raas Leela from Radhika Rani’s sight. Since Radhika Rani, at that time, was yearning for his sight and started calling him out as “ hey ramana”, and hence this new manifestation of Krishna was given the name Radharamanan. Even today Radharaman gives darshan to a lot of his devotees in vridavan.

Radhe Radhe Radhe

If you get his darshan, you will definitely get a chance to take part in the holy Raas Leela. If he blesses you, you can dance along with Radhika Rani and Krishna. He is awaiting your arrival to the holy abode of Vrindavan.

Jai Shri Radharaman Moorthy... Jai Shri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu... Jai Shri Gopalbhatta Goswami..

Shri Gopal Bhatt Goswami was only ten years old when Mahaprabhu stayed for four months at his family home in Shri Rangam, during Mahaprabhu's pilgrimage through South India. Gopal Bhatt dedicated himself completely to Mahaprabhu’s service, caring for his every need, whilst drinking the nectar of his teachings, which where full of love for Krishn. One day, during a conversation with Gopal Bhatt’s father, Venkat Bhatt, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu said, “Do not take Gopal to be a normal human being. He is an incarnation of a gopi, a personal associate of Radha and Krishn. With time, he will help millions of afflicted souls.” Venkat Bhatt offered his son at the lotus feet of Mahaprabhu, who initiated him on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi of that year. Thereafter, by the blessings of the Lord, Gopal Bhatt travelled to the holy city of Vrindavan on foot. There, he lived with the saints Roop and Sanatan Goswami. Together they rediscovered the hidden places of Radha and Krishn’s pastimes and wrote the devotional texts, such as Hari Bhakti Vilas, Tattva, Paramatma, Bhagavat, Krishn, Bhakti, Priti Sandarbhas, Krishn Vallabh’s commentary on Krishn Karnamrit, which now define Gaudiya Vaishnav philosophy.

One night, Shri Roop and Sanatan both dreamt that Mahaprabhu infused Gopal Bhatt with the light of his essence and left for his eternal abode. Soon after, news of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s departure from this world was received and each grieving devotee saw a vision of Mahaprabhu. He told them, “Roop and Sanatan are my personal associates and they should serve Govind Dev and Madan-Mohan. And my life, my dearmost Gopal Bhatt should preach the path of Bhakti and go to Gandaki River in Nepal, where he will receive twelve shaligram shilas. Of these shilas, I will always reside in the Damodar shaligram shila. He shall worship me by worshipping that shila [which later became the beautiful form of Shri Radharaman]. My wooden seat, which I have given to Gopal Bhatt, is the throne upon which he will sit as the next guru of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, and preach devotion for Radha and Krishn. This seat is symbolic of my authority, and will be handed down from generation to generation of Goswamis who are eligible to become gurus within the lineage. This is my order.”

After the necessary rituals were performed, Gopal Bhatt sat on the wooden seat. From this auspicious day, he was honoured with the title of Goswami, and the lineage of acharyas established by him use Goswami as their surname. Gopal Bhatt chose his disciple Damodar Das Goswami as his successor, and by his blessings, Damodar Das Goswami and his descendants would serve the deity of Shri Radharaman, guiding devotees as scholars and spiritual teachers for all generations. Over the last 500 years until the present day, the Goswamis of the Shri Radharaman Temple have been following Mahaprabhu’s order and Gopal Bhatt Goswami’s instructions, dedicating their lives for the purpose of preaching devotion in the world and worshipping...

The more i say the more is less, the more i describe the more is meagre.. How do i write anything related to Lord Radharaman ji.. Readers please excuse me, i am just making an attempt. Hope this information will help

The Mandir was constructed at the request of Gopala Bhatt Swami at around 1542 AD.It is among the 7 temples of Thakur of Vrindavan including Sri Radhavallabh ji, Shri Govind Dev ji and four others. The temple is exquisitely crafted and one of the most revered temples in Vrindavan, especially by the followers of Gaudiya Vaishnava . It houses the original Shaligram deity of Krishna alongside Radharani. The story which i heard is that Gopal Bhatt Swami used to worship Shaligram and everyday he used to decorate it with chandan. While his other devotee friends entrusted with various dieties of Radha Krishna used to daily decorate the diety with dress and ornaments. One of them even commented that the Shaligram of Gopala Swami looks like brinjal with chandan. On this Swami became sad and desired if he also had a Krishna diety then he would also decorate it. So he slept thinking all this and wept on the insult to his Shaligram and the Shaligram was kept in a cane basket with a cover which was hanging above the head of Swami ji. When Gopala Swami woke up he saw that the cover of the cane basket was open, he was scared thinking that there may be some snake which would have entered it, so he carefully brought it down and to his surprise he found that there was no Shaligram in it but a 6 inch black and beautiful diety of Krishna. Gopala Swami was happy to see this that Lord has heard his prayers. Since then Radharaman Ji is worshipped here. Some important and intresting things to note are : The temple is located close to Nidhivan and to reach here one can take a battery rickshaw from Banke Bihari Ji and reach here directly. It is about 2.5 kms from Banke Bihari Ji Mandir. #Daily shringar is just outstanding, Radha-Raman ji is just too beautiful to behold #Daily their is bhajan and dance inside the temple to glorify krishna is just too beautiful. #The samadhi of Gopala Bhatt Swami is just behind the temple and one must have darshan here too #There is a kitchen at the backside of the temple where grand feast is made for Radharaman ji. The fire never extinguishes here and has been kept alive from the first day as by Gopala Bhatt Swami ji. #please be aware of monkeys here as they snatch everything you carry #Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple is just close by #At the entrance or main gate there is always a green light or red light is on at a time, green means darshan is on and Red means darshan is not going on currently. Pleased do visit here if you are in Vrindavan and get Lord's blessings. Hope you have liked this information, if yes then please encourage by your likes. Jai Shri...
