Firstly this place is not a park it's the small patch of land divided in the strand road and the small elevation decorated with blocks of stone made by the French as a walking place at the Western bank of river Ganges, and that the last stage down below are small patches of greenery and vegetation decorated As gardens and children parks, and the whole area is called Chandannagar stand.

Food: the food in this area is the best in the entire form of French coloney of Chandannagar, the food court area is huge in size with multiple shops on both sides, with a huge free parking lot. During the evening hours this place is extremely busy. Momo is somehow the current bus in the town and miraculously it serves better momos than Kolkata.

Season: the best season to visit this place is during the winter. The whole day could be enjoyed and it is also the best time to visit the Chandannagar museum as well. The second best time would be the monsoon afternoon, but this is the time for the nature lovers at the chandanagar stand and the Ganges become one, not the water level gets higher but actually the weight trees and their dripping waters make the entire stand road appear to be an extension of the flowing water in Ganges. The cloudy sky reflects sunlight in a certain way that both were river and the road looks mesmerizing. And the most crowded of the times in the summer evenings.

Time: the summer evenings, monsoon afternoons, and the whole day during the winter it is crowded. The best place for couples would be during Valentine's day as the whole strand road gets heavily crowded. Especially during the evening it looks as if the whole Kolkata has left the city and came to the town. Chandannagar is the city of love and stand is a place for romance. It is the crown jewel of the French Empire in India. Therefore couples would enjoy this place more than anyone, if people are interested to visit this place with their loved ones then that would be the best choice ever to visit this place.

Reach: Rose coming from the side of Burdwan should take a Howrah local and board up to the Chandannagar station the same goes for the people coming from Howrah, they should take either a bundle or a Howrah local to the main line and board up to the Chandrapur station, from there and electronic vehicle known as Toto would be preferable. However those who are coming from the eastern side of river Ganges should board up to the station of jagadal and from there we should take a ferry and...
