JAGADDAL GHAT PARK — Attraction in West Bengal

Jagaddal ghat located at North 24 parganas in kolkata after shyamnagar and before kankinara local train stoppage.but the the ghat is quite far from station if you are traveling for boat please take bus or auto that would be convenient otherwise it'll be hectic journey .lunch boats are available from morning 5:30 to 22:00 hours every day. U can take two wheeler vehicles with you while traveling over boat to cross, no three or four wheelers are allowed. Jagaddal Ghat park just at the bank of Hooghly river is a quite amazing place to be. For it's beautiful location it is one of the frequently visited places near Chandannagore. The park is not that huge, or none like any of the amusement parks, considering it's entry fees of Rs 20 per person but it's good for a small time together ! It's a children's park, though they have park benches facing the Hooghly river, overthrowing a good view of Chandannagore. You can sit here, relaxing for a while. For the people of Jagaddal or from the kolkata side the park can be reached by train or bus, from Chandannagore side, they have ferry services through the river, that takes Rs 9 for one. Park is a place where people go to enjoy relaxing time with nature or to get a morning/evening walk. Jagaddal ghat park is a river side (Bhagirathi Hooghly river) park with a great view of the river flowing endlessly with its own currents. It has a decent amount of trees in the park with some garden plant sculptures like elephants. It has a green grassy carpeted field with some children playing structures. I went last month (June 2024) through the Ranighat Ferry Ghat and yes it was a good experience. I can't say it is very good but normal for an urban area like Jagaddal. The park charges for entry.
