WOW China — Restaurant in West Bengal

Although Wow! China is usually known for never letting you down, I guess this particular outlet strays from the norm. Firstly, to make it clear, I have no complaints with the food - the chicken coriander soup, prawn wrapped in chicken and chicken khao suey we had were all "wow" worthy. However, when you come to a restaurant, food is only half the picture - I'll be explaining the reasons that blemished our experience and led to the overall "meh" 3/5. Apart from long waiting times (including 40 mins for a simple chicken soup), this place had droves of mosquitoes and flies that begged for attention. The main thing behind our visit - green khao suey - was out of stock - which was a slight letdown as well. Moreover, they don't have any waiters and they don't provide regular water to customers either - bummer.

My overall verdict: this is a good place for Chinese/Burmese food IF you're planning a takeout, in which case don't hesitate - go for it. If you're looking for a gourmet experience, however, I'd advise looking elsewhere. Will edit my review subsequent to my next visit,...

Recently I visited the chandannagar outlet of wow chaina and as usual it's wow!!! For a Chinese food lover it's a great place. The location is G. T road so it's easily accessible. The staff behavior is cordial. Food quality and taste is delicious. Only one point to be mentioned, those who don't like chilli much should tell them before they prepare the food. Or even before ordering the food you should listen to their suggestions because some chainese items are really chilli flavoured so will be difficult to enjoy for them who don't like chilli much like us. The ambiance was pretty good. It has a great vibes , but the loud music may be disturbing for someone like me . Now let's come to foods. I won't say that it is awesome it was above average . The price of the products were a bit high as compared to other leading stores in chandanagar.

We ordered Honkong Chinese Haka noodles, Bezing Sauce Haka Noodles, Chicken Spring Roll and Oyster chicken Gravy. To my personal experience the quantity was pretty good for a single person.

I personally Didn't like anything anything except Chicken Spring Roll as all the products taste were not Upto the Mark.
