Hanuman Mandir in Lake Town is a serene and spiritually uplifting place that draws devotees throughout the day. Conveniently located right on the main road, it’s easy to find and accessible for all. The temple remains open till 10 PM, making it ideal for those who wish to visit after work or in the evening for a moment of peace and devotion.
The temple is not only dedicated to Lord Hanuman but also houses beautiful idols of Shivji, Ram-Sita, and Radha-Krishna, making it a complete spiritual hub. The interiors are clean, well-maintained, and comfortably air-conditioned, which adds to the overall pleasant experience, especially during Kolkata’s humid weather.
One of the standout features of this mandir is the attitude of the pandits. Unlike many other places, they are genuinely welcoming and not at all money-minded. They offer tika and prasad to everyone with a smile, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Bhajans and devotional songs are frequently held, adding to the spiritual ambiance.
Outside the mandir, prasad like laddoos and other sweets are sold, which are not only delicious but reasonably priced too. The area remains lively with devotees, yet never feels too crowded or chaotic.
Overall, Hanuman Mandir in Lake Town is a gem for spiritual seekers and regular devotees alike. With its neat surroundings, peaceful vibes, and respectful service, it stands out as one of the most comforting temples in the city. A must-visit for anyone in or...

To be precise whenever I get a Sindur ka teeka my day goes bad so I don't get any teeka on my forehead. But I find no one here inside the temple to discuss these...
