Manasha Mandir , Lake Town — Attraction in West Bengal

Maa Manasha Mandir is a very old temple in Lake Town.. It's a divine place.. At the middle of the month of August (last day of the month of Srabon according to Bengali Calendar), there is a grand puja used to happen annually in each and every year.. For this annual puja, a huge arrangements, pujas and various religious programs used to happen through out 7 days long.. For the puja, a small mela type things used to run through out 7 days, varieties of shops (various types of sweets, namkeens, home decorations, toys, utensils, wooden things etc.) used to take place near the road side within the footpath.. it seems to be festival like atmosphere going on through out those days..
