Some of the important features of this temple are..

The temple is facing east with a small 3 tier Rajagopuram. Palipedam and Dwajasthambam are in front of the sannadhi under the mukha mandapam.

In the prakaram sannadhi for Vedantha Desikar, Chakkarathalwar, Andal, Anjaneyar, Glass Room, Urchavars and Madapalli.

Sannadhi is constructed with sanctum and artha mandapam. Jayan and Vijayan are the dwarabalakars standing at the entrance of the sannadhi. Lakshmi is sitting on the left lap of Hayavadana Perumal.

The Temple is being managed by the Vedhantha sthapana Sabha a registered body on the 2nd main road, of Nanganallur.

During reopening of schools after summer students used throng this temple to get blessings of Sri Haravadhana Perumal

The temple will be kept opened between 06.45 Hrs to 11.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs...

We reached at 8.15am when the alanakara was just starting, needed to wait for 20min for the aarthi to complete for all dieties inside. Immediately they make you sit in a line and distribute the prasadam for the day, it is advisable to carry a container or carry bag. After this is done in about 15-20 min they perform archana for which you have to take receipt, and give thirtha, all this would take about 1 hour. You can also register for' shravana' by paying Rs. 300.00, in the name of your kids who are studying. The temple would be sending prasadam every month for the whole year. So by the time we came out it was 9.35am. If you intend to stay through the whole process it would take an hour. One thing you need to be ready is to follow the rules, stand where they tell you to, sit when and where...

This god is for Studies and we can so many kids and studying people come here a lot than others to get get blessings before they start new class, before exam or anything related to Studies.

This temple is not commercial at all.
