Sai Poorani Mami Mess — Restaurant in Zone 12 Alandur

It is in the 3rd Main Road of Thillai Ganga Nagar, Nanganallur. Visited in the morning. Not permitting customers to sit n eat now. Give parcels only.

Note it is only a Mess but not a Hotel. Before giving a big order wanted to visit and see and placed one ordinary dosai order. For giving my orders to them they took nearly 10 mts to hear my requirements. Then they took another 10 mts to deliver. Dosa is very small but the rate is very much on the high side ( Rs.50 per dosa here. The price of dosa in hotels like famous Udupi Durga bhavan n Vasantham of Nanganallur is Rs.40/- only). The taste is also not so good when compared to those hotels.

They are keeping sanitizers on the table but nobody was using and they too not ask the customers to take. Vegitables are cut in an open space and the person is not wearing mask. All the staff n owners are also not wearing masks. The other day I wanted to order for lunch but they made me to wait for more than 15 mts n said after giving lunch n tiffen etc only to their customers they"ll say whether lunch is available r not. I told them it is not a monopoly item n decided to return back to some other place. They should learn to respect the customers well.

Not so good place to eat n will not recommend because: a) High rate n not so tasty b) Poor customer handling c) Not adhering safety...

After a blissful darshan of Anjeneyae I visited this message for dinner. This is a small and very traditional cozy mess. Both take away and dine-in are available. Only 4 tables in dine -in. If you are not a party of four you won't get your own table ( obviously). You need to remove footwear before entring the eating area. Food is served on plaintain leaves which you need to remove yourself at the end of the meal. I had kichdi and poori masala. While poori masala was too notch, kichdi was not that great and was served cold! Service can be improved. The girls were mixing up orders! Very reasonable price and quality though. While I was having dinner the owner of the place (maami) had some tussle with someone and stared arguing loudly!! Overall what it lacks in service and ambience is made up for by the quality of food. I don't like to give even one star. Very worst experience. This hotel nearer to my place.so only I went there. Very costly like an ac hotels.aftral one coffee 25rupees. Sometimes no sambar. One-day I gave 200 rupees for 3 itlies. That lady gave 70 rupees only.i too missed to note that.i went there and ask.she refused to give and fighting with me like u didn't give 200 rupees,u Gave only 100 rupees. I told please check the account details. At last u will get 100 rupees extra. next day I went and ask her.she again fighting with me. By trust only we are removing that place without seeing the change.but she totally...
