Srivari Sweets — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Taste and quality of sweets, savouries and food are very nice. Price a little higher side, but worth it. Coffee also tastes good and you have the option to have with either normal sugar or brown sugar ( nattu sarkarai ).

I don't have different opinion about the food than what I have said above. But I have to change my opinion on the hotel.

I have had a very bad experience one week ago. I had been to there a number of times. I noticed on many instances that for takeaway service the chutney they gave was less in quantity. Last week when I went there to get 6 vadas as takeaway they gave less quantity chutney. I requested for additional chutney. I used to ask on some occasions and got. Sometimes I didn't ask. This time the behaviour of the staff irked me a lot. He simply told me that only that much could be given. Another staff enquired me about the issue. I told him that the chutney quantity was very less for six vadas and asked him to check for himself. The way he replied was very arrogant. He told that sambar and chutney were extras and not a must to give. They charge Rs.25/- per piece of vada and it was being served with sambar and chutney for dine-in. He thought the hotel was giving chutney and sambar with magnanimity not as accompaniment. His answer showed how they treated customers, even it could be said that they treated customers like beggers begging for their benevolence. I foresee the starting of their downward journey of their business at that point. First of all they don't know the noble cause that is being in the food / hotel industry. In Gandhi's word customer is God. But what I expect from these people just to treat us like...

One of the worst branches let me explain:

I regularly buy sweets and snacks from Srivari at the 6th avenue branch. Due to unavailabity the women at that branch called and requested the other branch at ayyapan kovil Anna nagar to keep it ready. I had requested to pay for the item at that branch itself so i don’t have to wait in the line pay bill again, But the guys at Ayyapan Kovil branch said I can’t pay at 6th ave have to pay there cause our branch won’t get sales (so funny that two shops running at the same name worried about own separate branches rather than helping the customer)i said okay. I came to Ayyapan Kovil branch to collect and the they said the women didn’t say that we have to keep it ready it is not there its over. I infact 💯 know that they did confirm since they did it in front of my eyes. The men including managers wearing blue uniform and Black uniform instead of finding a solution for the problem they called the women in the other branch and started fighting saying that no who did u tell this and that. It is so disappointing that the men have to treat the women that way also making the customer wait for no reason for their own fued between branches. I decided to not buy anything from there. I also suggest people to not buy from here rather visit the 6th avenue women atleast the sales...

Updated review: Previously I gave this place five stars for the service as well as food. Now I encountered a major attitude problem with parcel food. Usually we get vadai every weekend for breakfast. Started noticing that the amount of chutney given was sooo little compared to the number of vadas ordered. When asked about why so small quantity is given and requesting to give more, the person bluntly said that they are giving more sambar and the chutneys are only according to weight basis.

1.I seriously don't understand it , how can they give such small portion of chutney while ordering for 6-7 vadas. (Each vada priced at 25/-)

The person's reply where he conveyed as if the price is only for the vada and the accompaniments are complimentary

I can also see few other customers with same complaints too from review section.

Highly disappointed with the attitude when this used to be my favourite place.
