Bombay Kulfi & Minus 30 — Restaurant in Zone 8 Anna Nagar

Rushed in with my wet outfit as it was raining heavily on Friday night at 11.30 p.m. I was greeted with a smile from the owner as he saw myself clicking pics. Good to know that he remembered me, as we have met in his first shop in Adyar.

Gulkhand - A favorite Bombay product with North Indian touch was simply mouth-watering 😍

Kesar Pista Kulfi stick - Decent one with less quantity but worth a try. ☺️

Choco Chip - Delightful chocolate chips spread over the Ice Cream 😍

Calcutta Paan - How can I miss this.? Loved it as well 😍

Total bill cost 230 which I felt is bit expensive for the quantity but nevertheless enjoyed our Ice Creams and Kulfi 's.

Even though it is very popular in Bombay and it has got the name, it is becoming a rage in Chennai and is sure to stay with many locations coming up...

Bombay Kulfi - Coimbatore based store. They have lots of varieties of Kulfi, like Kesar Pista , Malay, Mango, Gulkand, Chikku, Pista, Anjeer etc. Both in slices and the usual Kulfi (cone) type. Very tasty ! Little expensive. Usually very crowded after 9pm. Street parking and not much place to sit inside / outside. The Kulfi is made of rich milk and cream that shows up in the taste. I can say this is one of the best Kulfi in Chennai , like top 3. Take away packing is not good. Probably they should focus on that. Kulfi is pretty solid frozen so it stays good without melting for sometime. Overall a good one and one must try this if you are in / around Anna Nagar and looking...

Orange Caramel - The orange was kinda hard and had to take time to dig in; still, the blend was good. Chocolate Almond - A simple combo but great taste with nuts around. Not much variety in taste since this wasn't anything like their other combo Kulfi slices. Butterscotch stick - Wasn't completely satisfied since the scotch flavour was hidden beneath the frozen stick. Still worth a shot.

So this place is basically a small room on the roadside with no embellishment. But as always, most of the great tastes are hidden in such places. Good parking space and have to wait a few minutes during wee hours. Not a fan of kulfi but this place is worth...
