The Aloha Ubud Swing offers visitors a chance to experience the thrill of swinging over stunning landscapes and capturing epic photos. While the place undeniably provides a nice setting for photography enthusiasts, it is important to note the commercial attitude and atmosphere that permeates the experience.
One of the notable aspects of Aloha Ubud Swing is its picturesque location. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking breathtaking vistas, the swings offer a unique perspective and an opportunity to capture stunning photos. The scenic beauty of the surroundings provides a backdrop that adds to the overall allure of the swing experience.
However, it's important to mention that the commercial attitude and atmosphere of Aloha Ubud Swing can be quite prevalent. The focus seems to be more on creating a highly marketable attraction rather than providing an authentic and immersive experience. This can sometimes detract from the genuine charm and natural beauty of the place.
The commercialization is evident in various aspects, including the presence of multiple swings and platforms that cater to a large number of visitors simultaneously. This can lead to crowded conditions and a sense of being part of a tourist assembly line, rather than enjoying a serene and personal experience.
Additionally, the emphasis on photo opportunities can sometimes overshadow the appreciation of the natural surroundings. Visitors may find themselves rushing from one swing to another, solely for the purpose of capturing the perfect Instagram-worthy shot, rather than fully immersing themselves in the beauty of the location.
Despite these aspects, the swings themselves are generally safe and well-maintained, providing visitors with an adrenaline-inducing experience. The staff at Aloha Ubud Swing are generally friendly and helpful, ensuring the safety of visitors during the swing sessions.
In conclusion, Aloha Ubud Swing offers a nice location for capturing epic photos and experiencing the thrill of swinging over picturesque landscapes. However, it is important to be aware of the commercial attitude and atmosphere that permeates the place. While the swings provide a fun and exciting experience, the focus on mass appeal and photo opportunities may detract from the authentic and serene beauty of the surroundings. Visitors looking for a more immersive and less commercialized experience may find other swing attractions in Ubud that better suit their...

🌟 5 THINGS I EXPERIENCED: 1️⃣ The Ultimate Swing Experience 🎢: A variety of swings to enjoy with stunning views. 2️⃣ Helpful Staff 👥: Team members guide you with helpful tips and direct you on how to pose for the best photos. 3️⃣ Personalized Photography 📸: Your family or friends can be your personal photographer for a fee. 4️⃣ Great Photos 🖼️: Weather was perfect, allowing us to capture amazing memories with beautiful backdrops. 5️⃣ Rain Policy 🌧️: The swings are paused during rain, which could limit your experience.
💬 PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: We decided to visit Aloha Swing after our resort highly recommended it, and I must say, it was worth it. The swings are incredible, and the photos were top-notch, especially with the staff helping us get the best poses. It was a bit expensive, especially since you can’t pay for individual swings, but we didn’t mind since it was an experience my wife had always dreamed of. The additional fee for family or friends to enter just to take photos was a bit frustrating, but it worked out since I got to take all the photos myself and saved the 200,000 rupees on professional ones. The rain did cause some delays, but overall, it was a memorable and fun experience!
💡 A FEW NOTES: 1️⃣ Expect a High Price 💸: While worth it, the cost may feel steep, especially for the all-inclusive experience. 2️⃣ Rain Interruptions ☔: If the weather turns bad, the swings aren’t available, so plan accordingly. 3️⃣ Photography Options 📸: If you don’t want to pay extra for the professional shots, you can always bring a friend to be your photographer! 4️⃣ PREGNANT: not able to do the swings!!!

Read moreAloha Ubud Swing is a lovely little spot! We arrived around 9:15am (Sunday) and it was nice and quiet, the 6th group of that day by the time we left at 11am, it had definitely gotten busier, so I’d recommend coming early if you want a more relaxed experience. There didn’t seem to be a reason to buy tickets in advance - we bought them as we walked in.
The staff were super helpful and professional. When we arrived, someone explained the different packages to us either 500k or 400k per person (as shown in the photos), so we could choose what worked best for us. You can also hire a dress here for 250k per person; they have a big selection in lots of colors. We tried to match all three girls in our group, but unfortunately, we couldn’t find three of the same style, so we just picked from what was available.
All the swings and the area overlook a lovely little rice terrace and a jungle backdrop, which makes for some really beautiful scenery in your photos and while you’re waiting your turn.
Once we’d chosen our dresses, we went from swing to swing, taking turns. We were able to take our own photos, and there was also a professional photographer snapping away. There’s no obligation to buy the photos, but they turned out so well that we ended up buying the whole set—115 photos for 800k, which felt worth it for the memories!
The only downside of coming at this time of morning was that the sun was directly behind the swings, so in some of our own photos we came out a bit darker and needed to do a little photo editing afterwards. Just something to keep in mind if you’re hoping to take your own pictures!
We spent a lovely few hours here. They also serve food and snacks, and the toilets were decent (always a plus!). All in all, a great experience—would...
