Batam Adventure Park — Attraction in Batam City

Great place to spend half a day (or more) with plenty of fun activities to try!

We started with the shooting range — the instructor was friendly and helpful, giving clear tips on how to handle and aim the gun properly.

Next up was the dirt cart, our first time trying it. We were fully geared up with helmets, gloves, raincoats, and goggles. The car’s rumble and the bumpy terrain made it thrilling and full of adrenaline—felt like being in a Mad Max scene, just with city-style protection from all the dust and dirt 😂.

Chasing each other around the track was super fun. We only realized how sweaty we were when the ride ended—it was scorching hot around 11 a.m., so going later in the afternoon might be better next time. The throttle lever can get tiring after a while; my 11-year-old lost grip a few times in the last two laps and went into the ditch, but the crew was quick to help. He still says it’s one of his best adventures yet!

We wrapped up with the ATV ride—bigger and steadier than the ones we tried in Jogja. My son rode pillion this time. The ATVs were easy to control, well-maintained, and handled the muddy trails with ease. The guide led us on a fun 30-minute route that was both scenic and exciting.

Our family of 4 visited on Friday afternoon. Tried the ATV. The ride was amazing as it will take you through the forest with varied high and low terrain. My son who is about 10yo was unable to control the vehicle well so for safety reasons, they suggested him to be a pillion rider with a little extra charge. They put safety first and did not hard sell the rides. Respectable.

Recommended to be prepared to bring extra clothings (top) to change into as u will be drenched in your own sweat. Otherwise I have to say they provide raincoats (with trousers) and boots that are mud proof. Complimentary bottled water is provided at the end. Cold drinks and ice cream can be purchased separately. Vehicles are also maintained very well by the onsite mechanic who is there.

Dika who could speak English was very helpful and also told us they are building a kids obstacle course! Looking forward to it soon.

Went there this afternoon and while it was quiet… The teenager and both elderly enjoyed themselves. We went on the ATV and Dika was very patient in explaining to us how to operate the vehicle. Meanwhile, my mum sat at the reception area to play with the kittens.

The ATV circuit might look like nothing when one first look at it but that’s for practice before heading into the “forest” which is where the excitement is. The water level at some part of the “forest” is rather deep hence I’m really appreciative of their “protective suit” and rubber boots.

After we were done, we stayed to play with the super friendly cats for quite a while more. Dika hosted us further and we had fun chatting with him too. The rest of the staff were also super friendly and patient. The guide that lead the ATV was a super good photographer too.
