Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam — Hotel in Batam City

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Batam.

Pro It is a 5 star hotel, so you can expect the usual amenities, including pools and massage, clean room and hot shower, and a good breakfast buffet spread.

The staff are gentle, helpful, and speak English well. Aldi and his colleagues drop us and pick us up from Picola Stella and Anchor and show us ard the estate with the bugy. Tari checks on us during breakfast and lets us in on the beach club scene in Batam. Juliana is an angel. I had a major issue with my hotel booking, and she went out of her way to get help for me, and she followed up to ensure it was well resolved. Because of her and all the helpful ppl we met at the hotel, we are already planning to return in Aug.

Location wise, some ppl said we should stay around Nagoya as it is more convenient. But i much prefer the Radisson location. For us, it is central and accessible. From Mega Mall, to Grand Batam Mall, or to the kelong for seafood. Transport cost is reasonable, so we much prefer the quiet and laid back charm of Radisson to the busy Nagoya. We grab everywhere without fuss.

The gym is well equipped and well maintained. We tried to hit the gym every day. But avoid afternoons since there are many PT with their clients.

Breakfast spread is great. There is even steak for breakfast and gluten allergens free pastry and bread. I ordered egg-white omelette easily. And you have Tari coming to check on you and chat with you. Awesome!

Luminal doesn't just serve coffee and cakes. They offer big breakfast and french toast too. Definitely check them out ✔️

We booked a shuttle to Grand Batam, and we were fetched there by a clean and spacious car. We were expecting a bus but since there's just both of us, they sent us by car instead.

There are indoor pool, billiard table, foosball, table tennis, sauna, and spas, too, although we did not use them this round. We were so delighted with the services and amenities that we recommended to the church to come here for our church camp in the future!

This is my 1st Batam experience alongside my loved ones (my parents, sister & brother-in-law). I had chosen Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam as our hotel lodging for the convenience to accommodate my parents since they had a worthwhile experience during their short staycation previously in October 2022. 1) Hotel is located in the suburb area of Batam whereby it offers tranquility & a panoramic view of the surroundings. Definitely a plus point for those travellers who prefer peace and serenity.2) Food in its Restaurant was fantastic as it offers different forms of cuisines. Being a foodie, I am definitely not spoilt for choices!3) Exemplary services offered by all the staffs most notably Nurul ( one of the Hotel’s receptionist), Ambo ( one of the staffs for shuttle service) & Sida( one of the Hotel supervisors)For Nurul, she went the extra mile in helping to do up a simple room decoration for my parent’s room since my dad’s birthday falls during the period of our stay at Batam. My Dad was definitely surprised yet happy when he saw the Birthday Decorations at his room. Not only that, she also dropped a WhatsApp text to my sister & brother-in-law to confirm on their arrival since they checked in the hotel on the day after. For Ambo, he strictly ensured that our shuttle service ride to shopping malls such as Grand Mall would be an engaging and safe one. Knowing that my Dad is an opposite version of me (someone who does not talk much), it made me beam with joy when i see both Ambo and my Dad being constantly engaged in conversations.For Sida and myself, we constantly exchanged emails weeks before the Batam trip. He often provided me with prompt responses whenever I raised a few enquiries pertaining to the hotel stay.Thank you once again Radisson Hotel for making our stay a worthwhile! We will definitely come back...

We had the most wonderful stay at Radisson Batam, and it was all thanks to the incredible team who went above and beyond to make our family trip special.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and care. We were traveling to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and even before we arrived, the hotel reached out to ask if there was a special occasion. When we mentioned the birthday, they surprised us by upgrading us to a beautiful family suite and even prepared a lovely birthday cake to celebrate the occasion. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly touched our hearts.

The staff were absolutely amazing — special shoutout to Tari and Yesi at the restaurant, Jeff at the spa, and Jefri at the front desk. They paid close attention to even the smallest details. When we asked for condensed milk for our coffee (which wasn’t part of the usual breakfast), they went out of their way to find it for us. When we requested ice for our coffee, not only did they provide it with a smile, but they also noticed we were taking our coffee to go and brought us larger takeaway cups without us even asking.

This is the kind of genuine hospitality that sets a place apart. It’s not just about material things – it’s the experience, the kindness, and the generosity that made this trip so memorable.

Everything we asked for, they went the extra mile to deliver – often giving us more than we expected. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but it’s truly the people that make Radisson Batam stand out.
