CitraLand Mall, often referred to as "Mal Ciputra," is a well-established shopping center located in West Jakarta. As one of the older malls in the city, it has a nostalgic charm that continues to attract both long-time patrons and new visitors. The mall is conveniently located near the CitraLand residential area, making it a popular destination for locals.
The mall offers a wide range of retail options, from well-known fashion brands to local boutiques, catering to a diverse shopper demographic. It’s not the most luxurious mall in Jakarta, but it has a solid mix of stores that meet everyday shopping needs. There’s also a good selection of electronics stores, which are particularly popular among tech enthusiasts.
Dining options at CitraLand Mall are varied, with a mix of fast food, casual dining, and coffee shops. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a sit-down meal, there’s something for everyone. The food court is spacious and offers a range of local and international cuisines at affordable prices.
Entertainment is another strong point of the mall. It houses a cinema that shows the latest movies, and there are several arcades and play areas for children, making it a family-friendly destination. The supermarket on the lower level is well-stocked, providing a convenient spot for grocery shopping.
In terms of ambiance, CitraLand Mall has a more traditional feel compared to newer, more modern malls in Jakarta. The layout is straightforward, and while the mall isn’t the most visually impressive, it’s clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate.
Parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours, as the mall is quite popular, especially on weekends. However, the overall experience is pleasant, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, CitraLand Mall is a reliable, all-around shopping destination that has stood the test of time. It may not be as glitzy as some of Jakarta’s newer malls, but it offers a comfortable and convenient shopping experience with a touch...
Read moreThis is a memorable mall for me as I've been visiting this mall since I was very young.
The best part of this mall, you can walk in spiral from the 1st floor until the top floor. They designed the mall to be walk-friendly whereas you almost need no escalator nor stairs to access between different floors. I guess this is a one of a kind mall.
Many restaurants are here, my personal favourite is Lekko, they are able to keep their taste for so long, the taste that makes you want to go back to taste their sambal or soup. (But honestly their penyet menu was better long time ago, back then the meat was more tender compared to now), but the staffs are very friendly and showing the Indonesian's kindness way of service. The uniqlo is also comfortable even though it might not be as big as other Uniqlos at other malls. There are various activities to do here. lots of high quality beauty parlour, massage, facial etc. Lots of clothing shops also to be found here with moderately cheap price compared to bigger brands but still at an okay quality. XXI is nice, I personally loved XXI in Citraland because their theaters were smaller compared to other XXI, and this is a great added value. While the screen will of course be smaller at smaller theater, but you will realize your point of view will not be disturbed looking left and right even when you sit in the front, and a more contained space means a better dolby surround.
While I think 100% of their restaurants offer only halal food, once in a while they have an exhibition for non halal foods, and OMG, the mall suddenly gets overcrowded. I used to visit gramedia a lot until books are very expensive now.
And again, fun city! 1000 Rupiah per coin.
This might be a 5 star review based on personal opinion, but I have been here since I was a child, this place feels nostalgic, and I think my...
