Maple Hotel Grogol — Hotel in Jakarta

Pros: Overall really professional and helpful staff. Nice restaurant/café on the first floor to chill and have a snack or have breakfast. Good Indonesian breakfast. Good bed/shower/AC/room altogether. Very nice view on Jakarta if you get a high enough floor. Higher floors are also good for avoiding mosquitos which there are very little. The price is also good for what is on offer.||||Not so pros: The location is not best due to lack of pavements and possibility of flooding in december and january. The hotel is next to a river which means impossible to leave windows open for long because of the smell. You will need a means of transport or have to rely on taxis etc because there are no shops nearby without risking your life if you walk. You can ask for taxis at the lobby if necessary. Some nights (1/5) have noisy guests or staff opening/closing doors very repetitively especially on weekends. I had to hit my wall twice because of my neighbour's noisy TV (or was it staff watching??). Most nights are quiet though.||||For me the pros easily surpass the minuses ||||Tips for the hotel managers: make sure your rooms/beds are not dusty, it would be a shame to not maintain such nice rooms! Also try to manage staff/noisy guests at night or put them all on the same floor, i don't know. Try more to keep mosquitos out of your lovely restaurant. It's a shame you have so many nice things on your menu but half of them are not...

Stayed for 1 night (29 sept - 30 sept) cause air conditioner in our house is under maintenance and have a lil baby, so we decided to stay in Maple Hotel. |When i checked in to the room, FO was told me about the bed from twin bed to be 1 bed. I dont have a problem about the bed, but made terrible cause bed cover doesnt cover the bottom side.|Comfortable for family or couple trip, over all this is the good one hotel on budget with nice place on the riverside.|I appreciated for the restaurant, very urbanish style like placed myself had a breakfast in Europe 😘...

This is the this is the 1st time I stay at maple hotel. It was better than I expected. the room is clean & comfortable. the price is very reasonable too. the employees are also polite & professional. what I like the most is the cafe (warung big buddy) in the hotel. it helps me a lot. I can eat there whenever I feel hungry. the price is affordable and the taste is delicious too. and the interior is very chick too. I definitely will be back & stay at maple hotel again. I will recommend it to my friends. so keep up the price & the good service...
