Exploring a delightful fusion of Australian and Indonesian flavors at Six Ounces - my new go-to brunch spot! 🍳☕️🥞 I visited their Grand Central PIK location on the 2nd floor, but there's also one in South Jakarta. The cozy, woody ambiance perfectly blends Aussie vibes with Indonesian warmth.
Tried and loved these dishes: Six Ounces Benedict 💰IDR 98,000 A unique twist with maple beef/pork bacon that surprisingly complements the dish. Perfectly cooked poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, mushrooms, and brioche make it a must-try. The hollandaise sauce maintained its consistency – a definite winner!
Creamy Carbonara Spaghetti 💰IDR 85,000 Overall, a tasty dish with a creamy, savory, and slightly sweet flavor. Not your typical Italian carbonara, and the sauce quantity is abundant – almost like a soup! Taste-wise, it's good, but be ready for a saucy experience.
Overall, Six Ounces delivers on both food and coffee. Intrigued by their Indonesian menu, especially the recommended oxtail soup. Can't wait for my next visit to explore more!

Read moreOrdered Six Ounces Breakfast Truffled Mushroom Ravioli Ravioli Arrabbiata Caramelized Pork Belly
Apart from the Six Ounces Breakfast, others is just Bad. Ravioli Arrabbiata is not cooked properly, the Ravioli is undercooked. The Caramelized Pork Belly smells weird. Truffled Mushroom Ravioli took almost 40 minutes to be ready. 20 minutes after the other food almost been eaten, its still not ready. When its ready the Truffle Mushroom Ravioli is extremely wet, nit creamy as its supposed to be.
When the waiter asked about the Ravioli, he just went to the kitchen and never come back to inform us. Until we call the waiter again and asked again, he just said its in process. Turns out its just been started to be cooked, because the pan was used to cook other dish.
However the restaurant isnt even crowded, and we can hear the cooks just laughing and joking with each other. And still, teh dont even apologized for the delayed order.
Overall most of the food is just mediocre, the waiter service and attitude can definitely...
Read moreThis place is probably branded and designed as coffee shop. Nevertheless they also have variety of food menu from breakfast, burger, pasta, Indonesian food to fingers food etc. For sure given the location, this would be great for interim waiting place (groceries, etc). Below is the verdict for the food: My rating on the F&B is a 3.5 stars. The taste is not as great as it looks. The longblack (hot) has a bit of musty smell. I suspect this was because their roasting uses a bit of palm sugar. Again the coffee looks nice with good crema. The burger may need more salt and pepper (less spread). The rest of the food are just okay but not special.
The service is fairly excellent although they seem abit short handed (need more servers) even when during...
