We walked into the restaurant and saw it was nearly empty. That usually means quick service. Instead, we waited 45 minutes for food — without a word from the staff.
When it finally arrived, the fries and skewers were cold. Not warm. Cold. We sent them back. They came back heated, but by then the mood was gone.
We had also ordered a tuna steak, which tasted fine — but it clearly wasn’t tuna. The chef insisted it was a local variety, but it looked and felt like mahi-mahi or tilapia. Not bad, just misleading. (Photo included - judge yourself)
My beef steak, on the other hand, wasn't that good. The meat was pretty rubbery. Not terrible, but far from good.
We also ordered two Negronis, each priced at 125,000. What we got was about a third of a glass — including the ice. At that price, it felt like a joke.
The Caesar salad was okay. The skewers were decent once warm. But cold food, weak cocktails, long waits, and a fake tuna story ruined the whole evening.
Some things were edible, so I’ll give it 2 stars. But I won’t be coming back.
Maybe all of this happened because service is automatically included in the bill. When tips are guaranteed, there’s little reason for the staff to care — and it...
Read moreFrom everyone’s reviews I was excited to try the fish. I asked the waiter what everyone else orders and he pointed to the Ikan Bakar. I asked if it was spicy and he said only if I want it to be spicy. So I ordered it and asked for it not to be spicy. 45 minutes later the fish came to my table slathered thick in a chilli bbq sauce. The typical garlic and onions for this dish were served in side bowls so I didn’t even add them, it was already overpowered with spicy bbq, I couldn’t taste the fish. I ate my food and left a little disappointed in my meal. The only suggestion I can offer is to maybe put the bbq chili sauce on the side like all the other toppings.
If you like spicy bbq, this fish would be great for you, just keep in mind, once you pick past the head and bones, it’s not a filling serving but I also ordered a...
Read moreWe arrived and the place was empty, the waitress took our order. Not only did the drinks take more than 20 minutes, but the margarita was horrible—just cheap tequila—and the lemonade didn’t taste like lemonade, it was more like bland juice. We ordered prawn tempura and calamari, which were very good, with a fair portion. Before ordering the whole fish, we asked if we could change the side dish for French fries, and they said yes. They literally brought us 7 fries, not even enough to fill half the plate as a side. Honestly, I do not recommend this place at all. The fish was tasty, but I doubt it was the 500g stated on the menu. On top of that, we decided to change the margarita for water. They brought us a glass and still...
