Updated: all feedback has been taken onboard and I can say that this place has become my favorite place in the area. Food tastes good and the vibe is low key street food style. Price is ok/good. Problem is that in the 5 times we have eaten here, not once we have been able to eat together as 1 meal arrives literally 30 minutes after the other one. The staff seem often confused and not knowing what to do, one is just hanging at the counter while we were waiting for our table to be cleaned, eventually had to go and ask for it. They simply remove dishes but don't clean tables in general. You really need to catch their attention to order something. Tey brought the dishes incomplete without fish and chicken, only noodles (😔) ordered the Mango sticky rice which is delicious, but after 40 minutes I realized if was never gonna come so I ordered it again, they didn't even realized I already ordered it. The portion varies ridiculously, first time the sticky rice was large and full with mango, after that, the portions where not even half the size. It is also often sold out (you only have...
Read moreWhile exploring Uluwatu, we were consistently greeted with warm smiles from Eci, a friendly waitress at Pok Pok Ulu, each time we passed by on our scooter. Her genuine hospitality drew us in, and we decided to dine there. We ordered the Veggie spring roll, Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice, everything was exceptional. The Pad Thai was rich in flavor, and the Mango Sticky Rice was a delightful finish to our meal. The restaurant exudes a cozy and unpretentious atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff, especially Eci, are attentive and exude genuine warmth, enhancing the overall dining experience. Pok Pok Ulu offers an authentic Thai dining experience in Uluwatu. With its delectable dishes and outstanding service, it’s a must-visit for anyone craving Thai cuisine...
Read moreI can't say about the service nor the atmosphere of the new place except I did take away 2 days ago through their WhatsApp and yesterday I woke up around 4 AM in the morning, my stomach was in so much pain I had to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes for hours, I didn't eat anything the day before. So for sure it was the food from Pok Pok. I took some pills and I feel better now but not all good. I ate there about 3 years ago in their first location in front of a jewelry shop the food was pretty good but I haven't eaten there until 2 days ago and I got sick. I don't like it when I get sick especially food poisoning therefore I won't order or eat from Pok Pok Ulus again. And I won't recommend it as reviews of other customers speak for their...
