Absolutely stunning viewpoint with breathtaking views — highly recommended, especially during sunset! Entry fee is very reasonable at only 10,000 per person. If you want to fly a drone, there’s an extra charge of 100,000, but honestly, the views are worth it.
I suggest arriving about 30 minutes to an hour before sunset so you can enjoy the landscape in good daylight as well as during golden hour. The area has plenty of benches to relax and a small café where you can buy drinks like coconut water, beer, and more.
In my opinion, the view here is much better than from Uluwatu Temple — and way cheaper too. If you’re worried about monkeys, no need — locals here actively chase them away, which makes the visit much more comfortable.
Just a heads up: after sunset, Grab drivers might try to ask for extra money or cancel your ride. It took us five tries to finally get a driver willing to come. Walking to the main road takes about 20 minutes through forested paths, which can be a bit risky in the dark. So try to leave before it gets completely dark or be prepared to negotiate.
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot and well...
Read moreHighly recommended to come here. The location is quite secluded and off the beaten track, but that just means the view would be fantastic! When we arrived, there were only a few people starting the hike. The hike is really short, about a few hundred metres from the entrance and it's nothing difficult. I think even the elderly and children will be able to embark on this. Despite the low difficulty, the views are spectacular, not only at the end but also at various points during the hike (see photos below). You will be greeted with unobstructed views of majestic cliffs, the vast sea below and just nature all around you. There is also an small abandoned building halfway, so that might be a good photo spot too if you like that kind of vibe. We took about 30 minutes for a round trip, but definitely allocate more time to snap pictures and just admire the great view in front of you. Just remember to collect all your trash and don't leave anything behind...
Read moreNow this cliff is absolutely incredible. The views of the ocean and breathtaking and the 70m drop down quote literally takes your breath away. Don't go to close to the edge. We went there to watch the sunset and it's definitely the best place to do so. Very peaceful and not very busy at all. However we were incredibly frustrated when we go to the gate and there is a woman there (no uniform, no signs, and and no tickets) demanding that you pay her 100.000rp to drive to the top with a car. Stupidly overpriced. She charges 30.000 for scooters. Very informal. And definitely a scam. I don't believe you should have to pay to see natural wonders. And I emphasise that even more so when you know for a fact that ths money you're giving away isn't going to the upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of said natural wonderful. If it was going to those things of course I would be happy to pay. However, it's not! Very...
