Warung Bejana is a restaurant that offers good options for vegetarians, making it a favorable choice for those following a meat-free diet. The availability of vegetarian dishes is a positive aspect, catering to the dietary preferences of various individuals.
However, one notable downside of Warung Bejana is the slow service. The slow pace of food being served can be frustrating, especially when you're looking forward to enjoying your meal. Additionally, it's disappointing to hear that the food is served cold. This can significantly impact the dining experience, as warm and properly cooked food is essential for both taste and enjoyment.
Another aspect worth noting is that Warung Bejana does not provide drinking water like many other restaurants in Bali. This means that customers are required to purchase water separately, which can be an inconvenience for some.
On a positive note, the restaurant's proximity to Uluwatu Temple for the Kecak dance is a great advantage. Being so close to a popular tourist attraction adds convenience and allows visitors to easily combine their dining experience with cultural entertainment.
The location and vibe of Warung Bejana are described as fantastic, which enhances the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant. Enjoying a meal in a pleasant setting can contribute to a more enjoyable dining experience.
In conclusion, Warung Bejana is a restaurant that offers good options for vegetarians, making it a suitable choice for those seeking meat-free dishes. However, the slow service and food being served cold are notable drawbacks that can impact the overall satisfaction of the dining experience. The absence of complimentary drinking water and the requirement to purchase it separately is an inconvenience. Nevertheless, the restaurant's fantastic location and proximity to Uluwatu Temple for the Kecak dance add value and make it a convenient choice for visitors interested in combining dining with...
Read moreBad. The worst is the waiting time. Waiting time almost one hour. We entered the aircon room and it is separated from the main dining place and counter. I even asked my spouse, is this room/space is just for taking some tea-time or cafe style only.Who knows is everyone food have not arrived.
Despite of that, after waiting for one hour, my nasi goreng arrived, but the rice is lesser than warm-level. What for i wait for such long time and NOT a hot or warm food is served. What are they busying at the kitchen but not a immediate cooking. NOT WORTH OF WAITING.
I feel its disruptive for the waiter when they are wearing the headphone/ talkie-walkie. I approach the waiter and wanted to tell her that i need one Uluwatu Sunrise, but she dont even look at my eyes and busy with the headphones and just tell me "wait a moments" and went to busy for other things. Later i have to look for another waiter for the ordering.
My spouse ordered white rice. The white rice is superrrrr hard, like a stone. Normally when the rice is served, it comes in a bowl shape right, we are not able and makes a lot of noises for trying to make it flat. The spoon and the plate clashing sound identifies how hard the rice is. Not good.
I ordered nasi goreng with prawn, the prawn is small.
If have better time and schedule, go to other place, this is how when it is near to the tourist spot. High flow but quality...

Please note that before we put the order for the young coconuts, the staff had to check with another staff in the back, who confirmed that they had young coconuts. We ordered 2 young coconuts listed on the menu and we received 2 mature coconuts with hard flesh/meat. When I asked about it, the waitress was very dismissive and said it was from the "supplier" and there was no way to tell if they are young coconuts. Wait what!? Can restaurants really do that?! Can they really list food that they are not sure of! I also notified the lady in the cashier about it, informed her that if we knew they were gonna sell mature coconuts, we would have not bought them. I told the lady in the cashier that we wasted our money on those mature coconuts. Same the cashier was dismissive. No discount and no offer for refunds for those coconuts. Bebek goreng was also not tasty. With such quality, I would label this place as a tourist trap. I would not recommend. I often travel overseas and other restaurants, if you encounter issues the restaurant staff will try to make it right. But not here. I got friendlier and more professional services from other restaurants, warungs, street food, and even food court in Bali.
Mind you, there's no miscommunication as I'm fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and I grew up in Indonesia. I look like a local too. If that helps to picture the...
