Three Steps coffee — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I have been to this establishment several times last year. Then I really liked the atmosphere and very tasty food. My friend and I decided to come here for breakfast this year. I ordered eggs benedict (the same as last year, as I remember that this dish was very tasty here). But what they brought me disappointed me very much. There was no special bun, no hollandaise sauce, the bacon was overcooked. Plus, the dish was carried for a very long time. I asked to redo, showing a photo from their menu, how Benedict should look. After 20 minutes a waiter came up to me and asked what the problem was. That is, they did not even understand what was wrong. Once again I showed the photo from the menu, my photo of their food, which I took a year ago and showed the dish that was brought to me. But the waiter did not answer me and didn’t offer anything intelligible to me. As a result, I waited 1.5 hours for my breakfast and remained hungry. Nobody apologized to me too much. A very unpleasant impression left after this institution. I will not go any more and will not send to others. The food here has such amazing prices and very very good portion sizes ! Definitely great if you’re on a budget that’s for sure !

The cafe just DESPERATELY needs more staff to be working …. I went here 6 times and yeah every time they just seemed short staffed, or it just took forever to be served so I would go to the counter to order as we would just be waiting wayyyyy too long.

Waiters also don’t speak English very well at all, many times you’ll ask them a question, they’ll say they will ask the chef but never get back to you … it happened to me but I also heard it happening with other customers (I ended up answering their question as the waiter just didn’t have a clue on the question ‘how much is extra salmon’ )

Wifi is also super patchy, so if you’re a nomad looking to work from your laptop, this would not be the place. Trust me I tried and gave up...

We went there for brunch. I was expecting a lot due to the reviews and the pictures on the menu. I am more than disappointed. I ordered a hot matcha latte. I’ve never tasted one as bad as this one. It was not even green but more dark and insanely bad… The waitress change it for another drink as soon as I asked. Then we got our food. I wanted an avocado toast but they didn’t have any avocado today (weird since half of the breakfast dishes have avocado). So I ordered a salmon hollandaise. I was not what I expected. I’ve never seen a salmon that red. At the beginning I even thought they forgot the salmon because it was more looking like tomatoes. It tasted very bad and warm like unfresh fish. I was not able to eat it so I had just the bread and the eggs left. The bread was not that good tho. Hope they gonna improve...
