Had a great time spent on the DΓΊn na nGall flat bottomed boat recently - been meaning to go for so long, was delighted to finally walk the gangway and board on a warm yet overcast evening. Word to the wise, queue starts 30 mins prior to departure - if there are some bus tours and they are booked on - best be at the gangway gate 30 mins prior to sailing to get seats for your party - the seats are lounge type inside and single fold down/up, & rows of 2 on the upper deck. Wonderful views along the way, an incredibly smooth trip, very nice staff, pass by and take orders for drinks and snacks - no need to leave your seat or miss a minute of the trip. Did see some otters an a seal in the distance, the commentry is good on the way out to give insight to what's in view, some folk songs on the way back. I'd go again and again - really enjoyed it. Recommended for everyone/all ages.

This was such good fun. Excellent value at β¬22 each. 1 hr 15 mins of total entertainment. A slight delay in setting off due to waiting for the tide/water to be high enough. Seals (as promised), beautiful shorelines, ongoing commentary - some pretty corny jokes !! Great sing-a-long on the return trip. Lots of seating outside - gorgeous sunshine for us. Very comfortable area inside. Brilliant bar service. Toilets etc. Really enjoyable experience. Parking is onsite next to the boat at 30c an hour.

On a sunny day there is nothing better than a nice cruise around the Bay of Donegal. The views are great and the tour guide gives a good insight into the history of Donegal Bay and surrounding islands.Getting to see the seals including the big bull seal known as Ron was great and a Grey Heron flying by was a bonus The crew are very nice and friendly and will help in any way they can. I highly recommend the trip and to take a good camera.

I definitely enjoyed the trip by water bus. On the way there, there was an audio guide(short information and nice music accompaniment). On the way back there was a brilliant singer, who made that trip. Beautiful voice, great Irish songs matched the picturesque views outside the best. I'd like to repeat this experience some other time, when the weather is better ,in order to be able to sit upstairs on the boat.

A fun experience! Lovely sailing out into the bay, with a commentary provided. Saw a few seals!! Then, live music and singing on the way back. You need to book in advance, and get your tickets printed in the booking office before going down to the boat. Sailing times differ each day depending on the tides.
