I came across this place when I was roaming around in the Donegal Town but never knew this place is a hidden gem from inside. I have been here before but just had coffee and did not had chance to taste their food that day. But later or sooner I did get another chance to taste from their menu. We were here celebrating my colleagues birthday and had met for lunch at Simple Simons as this is her best place to go to. Not gonna lie the food was excellent, beyond my expectations. Being a vegetarian there are very less options for us when we go out for lunch or dinner or anything. Here I had 2 or 3 options to choose from. The ambience here is quite beautiful and the show stopper is the view you get from the window of the Donegal Diamond Centre. I won't write much but the experience here was fabulous and food was worth to try for and also very convenient as it is right at the centre of Donegal Town. I ordered the vegetarian rosti, and it was outstanding — perfectly crunchy on the outside with layers of creamy avocado, topped with fresh arugula and tangy pickled red cabbage. The sides of roasted beets, feta cubes, and pumpkin seeds added the perfect balance of flavor and texture.

They also have a great selection of coffees, which made the meal even better. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautifully presented dishes — can’t recommend this spot...

I had the ramen noodle bowl, the broth was lacking flavour, the noodles appeared to be tagliatelle pasta ( very over cooked), I had pork belly (quite chewy), half a hard boiled egg, 2 pieces of pak cho, quite an amount of what were dried mushrooms so in turn were very rubbery, pickled cabbage and sweetcorn
I ordered a glass of water which never appeared. The wait staff didn't check in with me at all once they'd served my food.
At €19.45 I found it a little overpriced. I will return in future to give...
