Adare Town Park — Attraction in County Limerick

A gorgeous park! The little pond was perfect for a paddle in on a roasting hot July day. But the little fisheens would be ating your bunions. People pay money for that kind of thing, so maybe they should set that up in the park. The flowers are spectacular, I'm green with envy, pardon the pun, oh god that was an awful joke. There was a kind of an arch thing made of branches that the small tots loved running through. There was a girl having a class of a photo shoot there in her wedding dress, and I thought, oh if only I had known about this place when I was getting married! Although, its a bit far from my parish, my hair would be ruined with the sweat being in a car for that long! And sure, I suppose the place wouldn't be great is twas...

Beautiful park, very well maintained and in sync with the charm of the beautiful Adare Village. The main attraction was obviously the big bunch of Hydrangeas.. absolutely gorgeous!!.. The park is small but seemed suffice, had everything a small pond, benches to sit, a gazebo made in traditional way and a lovely straight walk with beautiful trees flanking it.. Parking can be an issue, as the village does gets very crowded on weekends. Park is very near to best of eating options in the village so one can satisfy both the eyes and...

A beautiful park with many surprises. Really enjoyed our visit there and a ramble around. Very accessible. Free on-street parking when I visited and no cost to enter the park.
