Acadia Beach — Attraction in Herzliya

Our family loves the day getaway at Acadia Beach. The beach is clean and very sandy. The man made sea breakers create a calm swimming experience with shallow to deeper water areas so that everyone can enjoy. There are lifeguards stations. A restaurant and concession take away at beachside is very convenient. There is a local bus stop and ample parking at the main entrance. Israel is blessed with many exciting beaches. The best beach in terms of comfort and family friendly is Acadia Beach in Herzliya. It’s not so far from Tel-Aviv’s crowded beaches, you can always find a parking spot in the area and have a comfortable reach to the beach by an air-conditioned elevator. The sand is clean and wide. The place is not heavily crowded and it offers clean bathrooms and showers. And of course – it’s free! The ice cream and the beer sold close by will cost you more than average, but you’ll enjoy a quiet and pleasant day...

I was nit overly impressed, don't get me wrong, the beach was pretty well maintained and clean with beach loungers and tables BUT the prices are rather high once you take into account the parking and the rental of your lounger table umbrella, for a family it get a bit pricey. Due to the Corona issues the showers are currently all closed so just a few on the beach available. Expect to pay "Hotel type prices" for food and drinks but that is to be expected.
